63. The Home

Flint is on a vacation with his family. After the failed official introduction with my family, I tried to set a date so we could finally tell them about us. But things seemed to always get in the way. So I just let fate decide for us. They’ll meet him if it’s the right time.

Both Taylor and I decided to stay here at the apartment during the semester break. I don't want to go home because I'll be looking for a part-time job. I already told my parents about it and they even wanted to help me. They said they could call some friends and get me in, but I declined. I wanted to find a job on my own. Maybe if I can't find anything, then I'll ask for their help. Taylor, on the other hand, didn't also go home because she didn't want to. She said that she doesn't want to be around her dad and stepmom so she'll be staying here and will probably do some commissions. I wish I could also accept commissions related to writing, but I don't think it works the same for arts.
