Chapter 1619

The Tea Time Room was divided into three sections—the front yard, middle yard, and backyard, all of which were typical antique wooden buildings with a built-in stage inside where people often came to listen to live bands or stand-up comedy.

The front and middle yards were open to the public where the members of the teahouse could enjoy the facilities, but the back yard was closed to the public. This was Stephen’s private territory which was extremely confidential.

Stephen graciously invited Charlie and Quinn into the private parlor in the backyard.

Once inside, Stephen immediately dismissed all the service staff and personally invited Charlie and Quinn to sit down on the sofa and made a pot of tea for them with his precious limited-edition tea set.

After serving the fragrant tea to the two of them, Stephen said, unable to conceal his excitement, “Mr. Charlie, I didn’t expect to see you in Eastcliff, let alone with Miss Golding…”

didn't the author say charlie brought only 2 and told the Goldings that he came across it...now he's telling them he made it. there's too many inconsistencies in this story.
