Chapter 64

Derrick’s point of view

“What! I don't believe you.” She laughed and I couldn't stop myself from laughing also.

“You don't believe me?” I asked her as we got into the car.

“No, I don’t.” She laughed. “But why were you taking off my clothes?” She asked again.

“I just wanted to make you warm… like skin-to-skin or something like that?” I tried to explain and she hit my arm.

“It's better you keep it to yourself.” She spoke and I laughed.

We drove home.

I was done washing up so I sat in the living room and Lee and I were on the phone.

We talked about a few things and I also asked him how he has been coping with the office.

“Everything here is fine though, I'll send the sales record to you later.” He informed me.

“Alright then, I'll arrive soon in no time once the business deal here is settled.” I said, I have really missed my work, my office, even my company as a whole, I honestly can’t wait to go back.
