Chapter 70

Derrick’s Point Of View

Zora took me to an eatery to have lunch. Although I was quite angry at her, that was so nice and smart of her because I was starving already.

We were done eating, I was about to settle the bills but Zora disagreed, wanting to pay instead.

She insisted to the point I couldn't stop her anymore, so I allowed her to pay.

While heading to the car I couldn't hold it anymore so I asked her why she was doing all of this. She was so honest, she said to make me feel better and she was concerned because I didn't eat anything in the morning.

That made me happy, at least she is concerned about me, even if I am rejected.

We got home afterward.

We were seated in the living room discussing though, talking about some random things and laughing at the funny part.
