Chapter 55

Derick’s point of view

My eyes met a very beautiful yet simple woman, her beautiful flared dress with roses designs, to round it all up she looked so captivating.

“You look so gorgeous in that gown.” I couldn't stop myself from complimenting her and she smiled and walked close to me but not so close.

“Thank you, Derrick and you look good too.” She chuckled a little.

“Thank you.” I laughed.

“I'll go get the baskets.” She wanted to turn and leave for the kitchen.

“It's already in the car, I took it a while ago.” I said and she looked at me.

“Oh alright then let's go now.” Her voice was filled with excitement and so many smiles on her face. And that made me happy.

We both walked to the car and drove out. We stopped at the grocery store to get some other fruits that weren't at home.
