It was another beautiful Monday morning that some considered to be loveable for them while others considered overbearing, especially for the lazy ones.

"Moreover, the percentage of those who actually hate Mondays is higher than any other day," Anna concluded and turned off her iPad after she finished reading. Today, they didn't take her car and went by bus instead. Hera looked at her friend and smiled.

"What about you? Do you hate Mondays?"

"Sometimes, I do and sometimes I don't. It's just a matter of the mood I happen to be in when that day comes every week. You?"

"Mondays are the best days of my life. I love Mondays." Hera responded cheerfully. She glanced at her phone. It was almost seven in the morning. She was sure that Zach would have been on his way or might have gotten there.

She felt a little bit tensed up because she didn't know how things were going to look for her today. What if he showed up and said he wasn't interested anymore? What if she messed up? What if he didn

Hera went ahead to meet Selena at the designated location that she had sent to her. It was a Cafe nevertheless and it seemed to be an abandoned one seeing as no one was in there but old furniture and some uncertain things. Hera opened the door and looked around her carefully. The smell of burnt cake welcomed her nostrils she had to sniff and rub her nose as a gesture to it. Then Selena waved to her and she smiled quickly. Hera hastily went over to meet her and sat when she got to Selena's side. "Hi." Selena waved. "Hi." "I am sorry for calling you here on short notice." "It's fine. What's this place?" Hera asked as she looked around again.Selena chuckled, "It belongs to my grandmother. This is my grandmother's cafe that has been in existence from one generation to another. It was passed down to her. I rarely come here though but I had to because of our meeting. Is this place suitable enough for you? We can go elsewhere if you want." "So, you decided to keep the truth away from me, Hera?" Anna asked after listening to Hera's side of the story.Hera sighed and nodded her head apologetically. "I didn't wish to, Anna. I was going to tell you sooner or later but I was just a bit skeptical about everything. I wasn't sure that it would work out since we just started and I was also scared as well." "Scared? Why would you be scared?" "About the attention that I might receive for being with him." "Who cares? Someone has to settle down with him anyway. If you both love each other it's fine. He is also aware of this and he is ready to fight against the world for the both of you so I see no reason why you shouldn't do the same too." Anna responded.Hera sighed again. "So, do you love me?" Anna asked her friend eagerly. "Well...he seems okay to begin with and his smile...his touch...his words everything seems to affect my brain in so many aspects. I only pretend not to be affected when in reality, I am so much affected

Zach was soon back from the business trip he went on and was in his parents' house as usual. He would have loved to spend every second of his with Hera and Austin but right at the moment, he was forced to stay with the family, probably to keep them company. It was then that he realized that Delilah was now living with him in the same house. He didn't know what his parents' aim was about this but he tried as much as possible to be nice to her to a certain limit as it ought to be. "It's been a while since we had fun." Delilah started a topic after their wine had been served. Zach looked up from his phone and glanced at her. He nodded reluctantly before he continued pressing his phone. "Do you perhaps have anywhere in mind that we both can go to and spend the day together?" "Aren't you busy with work? I am also busy with work so I don't have enough time to spend fooling around." He replied instantly. "Fooling around? I never knew that you would call closeness between best f

"Where are you, Austin?" Zach called out after he removed his hands from his eyes. He looked around the sitting room in search of the little boy. He then stood up with a smile. "You are very sneaky, aren't you?" He added and started to look everywhere else. He searched under the table, behind the couches and sofas but he couldn't find him.He then looked at Hera helplessly, expecting her to help him. "Aren't you going to help me?" He asked her.She smiled, "Why should I? I wasn't the one who started the game after all." She answered and continued kneading the dough. "You are such a heartless person." Zach scoffed and walked away in search of Austin.Hera shook her head and turned around. After a few more minutes, she heard Austin squeal while Zach shouted with happiness for having found him.Austin ran out to hug his mother while laughing hysterically. "I told you that I was going to find you," Zach smirked. "I simply made it easy for you." Austin shot back. "Yea

A few days later, Zach dropped Austin off at school before going ahead to drop off his mum. She informed him about the opportunity that Selena had told her about and that she was going there to take some pictures as she said. "I see. Selena was the one who helped you that night, right?" He asked as he pressed the brakes before taking the route that led to the entertainment company. "Yes, do you know her?" "Not really. I am not involved in the entertainment industry that much anyway but I have heard Delilah talk about her a few times whenever she was around." He answered. Hera then frowned. "Delilah?" "Yeah. What happened?" "Nothing. I heard that she has been your childhood best friend for quite a long time."Zach nodded, "Yeah, we grew up together but I was not that close with her because of my choice of course so rather than walking up and down the Earth, I would rather lock myself in a room and study till Dawn while she walks around on high heels, attending celeb

You won't believe me when I say that Zach is in love with another woman." She sobbed. Elizabeth was surprised and she put down her iPad. She got closer to her daughter, wanting to get more information regarding that. "In love with a woman? How is that possible? When did he tell you this?" "A few days ago. "I was just remembering what had happened in the last few months." She said and received a kiss on her forehead. "Hmm. It's probably for the best." Zach answered this time around. The best? A happy ending? "Come on, let's go. We don't want to be late, do we?" He held her hand and the two of them walked out of the room in matching outfits. Zach locked the door before opening the car for Hera. Hera was crying while sitting inside the station. She really missed her son and prayed that nothing would go wrong with him. The more Zach watched this, he was going crazy but he couldn't do anything because the cops were still trying to figure it out. Also, the process seemed to be slow to him. He sat beside her and placed her head on his shoulder while she was crying. "I am sorry. He will be fine, I promise."Hera thought, how could he promise such when he didn't know what to do? She just wanted her son back no matter what. "We have been able to find the location." The cops informed them and Hera stopped crying immediately. She stood up. "Let's go." "Sure."Just then her phone rang and she answered it. "Have you done the video yet..."Someone started shouting from beneath and it seemed that a fight was going there. Hera and others could hear Austin scream. It was evident what they were fighting for because the swearing and shouts were just too much. But Hera could hear the s

"I love you, Uncle Ben," Austin said eagerly to Ben but the man was less concerned. He was frowning deeply. "You love me? I can't see how you love me. You exposed me in front of Mrs. Young. Do you know the problem that you have made me go through? Now I will end up in army school." He answered. "So what? You will become stronger and you will be serving the country as well." Austin saluted and Ben just covered his face with his palms. Why was he babysitting this boy? He was too old for his age. "Do you need ice cream?" Ben asked him after a while because it would be better if he pleased the young boy and he gives a good report about him at home then he wouldn't have to go to the military. "Yes," Austin answered and Ben nodded. "Wait here, let me get you one..." "Hello there. Good evening. It's lovely to see you tonight." Elizabeth grabbed Jennie harshly to hug her. Ezekiel had invited them over for dinner with his family and even Hera alongside Zach was shocked to see them. He stared at his parents suspiciously as disappointment showed on his face. Why were they here in the first place if not because his parents were trying to make him go against his wish? He hissed and wanted to leave but Hera pulled him back. "You have to be patient. You can't just jump to a conclusion without knowing what is going on." She convinced him. "If this has to deal with me leaving you then they should forget about it because it's not going to work at all." He replied and Hera sighed. Sincerely, she hoped that it wouldn't come to that. "Where is Gabriel?" Ezekiel asked Cyril. "Oh, he went back to the country. He said that he had a concert or something like that. Delilah will check up on him anyway." he answered. "That's great," Ezekiel responded. Jennie could

By the time Jennie got back home, she just needed somewhere to rest and also someone to keep her company. A lot of things had been happening and she had been thinking a lot lately which was not good for her health. She held the side of her gown while holding to her fashion bag as she walked into the mansion, her expensive heels clicking against the surface of the hard tile. She looked around wondering where everybody could have gone but she didn't see anyone except a few maids working at a distance. Just as she was about to climb the staircase, she started hearing some noises that later seemed to be whispers and after a while, grew into a full-blown loud conversation.Ben came out of a corner talking affectionately to someone on the phone. "Yeah...I know and I love you too. Babe...babe, just listen to me, okay? I will get you whatever it is that you want and I will come and visit at school...a lot, darling. There are business engagements and stuff for me to run. Hera isn't working

Delilah was so mad that she went to look for Jude and she did find him where he was the last time, doing his work. This time around the place was a bit too crowded but she didn't care about it or her image. She was only here because she wanted to bear her disappointment against him.Jude, after he saw her, closed the trunk of the car and approached her. "Hey." He waved at her. "Hey? So, you have the gut to tell me HEY after you failed in the mission I sent you on? How could you? You ruined every single bit of my own. Was it wrong on my side to have trusted you? What happened? Why did you change your mind?" She asked him furiously.Jude removed a stick of cigarettes and put it into his mouth. He lit the bottom and threw away the lighter before puffing out the smoke. He then looked at her. She was indeed mad because she and the angry bird were not that different from each other in appearance anymore. "I just couldn't do it after running my background check on them." He answere

"I am a bit nervous tonight," Hera whispered. This was going to be the first time that she would be meeting Ezekiel Young Albert. Zach licked his lips and nodded. "I am also nervous because I don't know what he might say, to be sincere." He answered her. "But you did well tonight. You did great. I just couldn't imagine that. Tomorrow, I am sure that your name is going to be in the headlines. I am sorry if that's going to bring pressure on you or anything..." "No, it's not going to bring any pressure on me. I am fine as long as I have you by my side, right?" She looked at him hopefully. Her eyes were like that of a panda and all Zach just wanted to do was to snuggle her closer to himself but he was driving. "Yes, we will always be together at each other's sides." He assured her. Finally, they arrived at the mansion and Hera was baffled by how good everywhere looked even though it was nighttime already. They were indeed very rich. No wonder Jennie was so concerned about

As Delilah was walking around with a silly face, her eyes were looking for one particular person. Why wasn't he here yet? He was supposed to come before they arrived. She frowned deeply but Hera wasn't moved. "My goodness, I am so sorry." She apologized and wanted to leave. "Sorry?" Delilah scoffed and folded her arms. "Yeah?" Hera answered. What else was she supposed to say? She had never had any confrontation with Delilah before so this was the first time that this was going to come up. "You are just too full of yourself nowadays just because you are already dating Zach." She spat out. Hera feigned confusion. "Excuse me?" "You are not getting excused. You collided with me and almost ruined my dress." She replied.Hera sighed and sincerely hoped that things wouldn't go wrong because tonight, she was going to be doing onl
