56. THE PAST.

Hera slowly placed the soaked towel on his back as she cleaned the wound. Zach would flinch once in a while and then glare at her playfully.

"Didn't you say that the water was warm? This is hot!" He retorted.

Hera smiled wickedly and pressed it firmly on his back, causing him to wince.

"Hera!"

She giggled in response, "I am sorry."

Zach then smiled to himself while allowing her to take care of his back. Hera stared at the wound for a while. It was deeper than she thought, the feeling suddenly caused her to shiver because she never believed that such a thing would happen.

"Hera, why aren't you cleaning it again? Are you okay?" Zach asked her worriedly while turning his head a bit but couldn't grasp her view. She blinked and sighed.

"Yes, I am fine. I was just staring at the wound and how deep it is. I was thinking that if this was to be me, I don't think I would survive it." She answered.
