Dean's focus shifted momentarily, and Kaitlyn seized the opportunity. With nimble fingers, she swiftly untied herself, feeling the tension in the ropes release.

"Sir! Open up! It's urgent!" a voice called from the other side.

"What the hell is it?" Dean barked as he opened the door, revealing one of his men standing on the other side.

"Sorry to disturb you, Sir. There's an urgent matter that requires your attention," the man explained nervously, sensing the tension in the room.

Dean, still frustrated by the interruption, shot a glance back at Kaitlyn before turning his attention to his subordinate. "Handle it, and make sure it's important," he ordered tersely.
