Chapter 26

As the peaceful night enveloped them, having already enjoyed dinner, they decided to linger by the shore, savoring the gentle sea breeze. Kyle, ever caring, spread a blanket on the sand, assisting Kaitlyn as she settled down, making sure she was comfortable. Once she was situated, he joined her, sitting close as they both faced the vast expanse of the sea.

The scene before them was nothing short of magical. The full moon hung high in the sky, casting its luminous glow across the entire beach, its reflection shimmering in the tranquil waters below. The atmosphere was serene, with only the two of them, surrounded by the soothing sounds of the waves and the soft caress of the night breeze.

Lost in the mesmerizing view, Kaitlyn found herself so at ease that she unconsciously tilted her head, resting it on Kyle's shoulder. With both hands cradling her pregnant belly, she became a portrait of serene contentment.
