Elisa looked at her phone and squinted. She had received a text from Ansel first thing in the morning.

"You are cordially invited to an all-day event with an extremely handsome CEO, Me. I will be sending a car in two hours," the text said.

Elisa rolled her eyes and smiled. What a dork.

Wait, all day! How was she supposed to do that when she has Audre? There was no way she could afford a babysitter for the whole day.

The doorbell rang all of a sudden, startling Elisa. She hurried to open it. Esmeralda was standing in front of her with a smile. Elisa was surprised since she didn't call her yet. She looked at Esmeralda questioningly.

"Big plans today?" Esmeralda chirped.

"Um...how'd you know? Are you some type of psychic?" Elisa let out nervous laughter.

"Someone called me and asked me to look after Audre until later today. He said he was your boss," Esmeralda said.

How did Ansel know about Audre and

Ansel Squinted at the entrance sign and looked at Elisa."Sorry, what are we doing here?" he was confused."We are going to have a nice tour at this lovely farm, and you are going to learn how to milk a cow," Elisa replied casually as if it was the most natural thing to do on a first date.Oh, you got to be kidding me,Ansel thought. He had never been on a farm. He didn't even like farm animals. His parents took him to a petting zoo once, but he ran out crying because he couldn't stand the smell of feces. Elisa must've sensed how snooty he is and decided to bring him here to mess with him.Jokes on her because he won't back down, Ansel decided. He is going to have a good time no matter what. But wait...did she just say milk a cow?"What do you mean we are going to learn how to milk a cow?" Ansel let out a nervous laugh."Not 'we,' you are going to learn while I stand back and enjoy the show," Elisa smiled."Excuse me? I

"So...I suppose you'd want to end our date here since you had that traumatic experience with Sally, the cow?" Elisa looked at Ansel with hopeful eyes. They were finally out of the farm and now sat inside the limo.He was all cleaned up, and Samuel and Megan were nice enough to offer them lunch, so they stayed for a bit. Elisa figured Ansel had enough."What are you talking about? I am having a great time, Ansel smirked.Dammit...she thought she had him. Elisa was frustrated."Besides, it's my turn. We have to have dinner, don't we?" Ansel said."I'll skip it. I only eat twice a day," Elisa said. She had to admit she was having a good time, but there was no way she'd let Ansel know that."Nice try attempting to escape, but you're stuck with me," Ansel wrapped his arm around her shoulders and moved her closer to him. Elisa thought about swatting his arm away, but she leaned back instead. His warmth spread through her body. It felt good to be h

Ansel never had to work this hard to impress a woman before. Usually, whenever he took them on a fancy date, they'd start acting like they had been dating for ages, especially if he bought them new clothes and shoes. Was Elisa just pretending? No, Elisa didn't seem like the type of woman who likes to play hard to get just for the hell of it.But she was warming up to him. Ansel knew that much. She didn't swat his arm away when he held her close in the car. And she actually smiled and laughed at his jokes. Maybe he was going to get lucky tonight after all.He called the waitress Erica from across the room and ordered two drinks. Just as he was about to turn around and go back to Elisa, he spotted someone in the distance. The last person he wanted to see. Fucking Jessica. How did she get in? Oh right, he must've forgotten to put her on the blacklist. He made a mental note to talk to the manager about it.Jessica smiled and walked towards him before h

Ansel kept his word and didn't do anything inappropriate for the rest of the night. Surprisingly enough, Elisa was starting to find him charming. The alcohol must be affecting her badly."Who is that guy in a green jacket? He looks familiar." she pointed at a guy sitting at the bar."Him? That's Mathew Black. He is a famous musician. You have probably seen him on TV or something," Ansel said distractedly."Oh...he is so hot," Elisa swooned.Ansel snapped his attention back to her. "Excuse me?" he narrowed his eyes. Jealousy sparkled in his eyes."He is sexy. I bet he made it People's Sexiest Man Alive list," Elisa grinned. She didn't find the Mathew guy that good-looking but decided to mess with Ansel as payback for his inappropriate behavior earlier."Pfft...I'm way better looking than that imbecile," Ansel scoffed."Eh...I don't know," Elisa shrugged."Oh, so you'd rather sleep with him than me?" Ansel frowned."Excuse

She almost looked ashamed to let him kiss her and touch her body. She isn't ready, Ansel thought. He took her home just as he promised. She hesitated before getting out of the car. "Thank you for today. I had more fun than I care to admit," she said."Just admit it, you're disappointed that you didn't go all the way with me tonight," Ansel smirked."Pfft...in your dreams. Why would I ever want to sleep with a prick like you?" Elisa giggled."Fine, be that way. One day you will give in, and it'll be glorious. Elisa stared at Ansel and could hardly contain her laughter. She couldn't believe how annoyed he was because a six-year-old girl told him she didn't like him. "What do you mean you don't like me? Everyone likes me," Ansel frowned. "I don't like you because you're ugly," Audre said nonchalantly. Oh boy, Elisa looked at them wide-eyed. Ansel gasped. "How dare you, tiny human! I am not ugly. If I was ugly, I wouldn't be so popular with the ladies. And guess what, I was named one of the most handsome eligible bachelors in Forbes magazine, so joke's on you, missy!" Audre turned to Elisa. "Mommy, what's e-rigi-ble bachalor?" Elisa rolled her eyes. Is this guy for real? "Are you seriously arguing with a six-year-old? Who is the adult here?" Ansel ignored her and turned his attention back to Audre. He refused to lose to a child. "Listen here. I don't care about your opinion because guess what? You have a bedtime, and I get to stay up a

He felt her hand tugging at his shirt, unbuttoning it. She didn't stop until she unbuttoned the last button. He broke the kiss to come up for air then stared into her eyes. She trailed her fingers all over his naked chest and stomach, sending shivers down his spine. He smiled down at her. She was lying there, half-naked and vulnerable. She was all his. His to make love to, his to play with."Don't hurt me," she whispered. Her eyes were suddenly full of concern. Her confidence from earlier was fading. He looked at her with surprise. "Hurt you? In the morning, Elisa woke up and smiled as she remembered the events last night. She couldn't believe she slept with her boss. She didn't feel any shame or regrets. She was happy. She realized she started to have feelings for Ansel. Sure, he was an obnoxious, arrogant man, but he can also be weirdly sweet. And it didn't hurt that he was extremely attractive. She couldn't wait until he came home from work. She needed to tell him now. The secret she had been keeping was driving her crazy. She felt like she was about to explode! She saw Audre in the kitchen and expected her to ask where she was going, but Audre was too busy chatting and laughing on the phone. "No, I love you more," Audre declared on the phone, then giggled. It's been a month since she came from the camp. Ever since then, she had been seeing Aleks. She is always on her phone texting him or having long conversations. Ansel groaned and complained about it at first, but he had eventually accepted their relationship. Aleks was a good kid, after all. "I'm going to have lunch with your dad. I'll be back soon," Elisa announced before leaving, even though she w

It was the last day of Summer Camp. Audre was sad that it ended, but she looked forward to going back home and be with her sisters. But then again, she knew she couldn't see Aleks first thing in the morning after she leaves and thinking about it made her sad. She wanted to see him before they all went their separate ways. She still had a few hours left before Steven came to pick her up. Aleks was in his cabin packing up his things. His eyes lit up as he looked up and saw her standing by the door. "Hey Curls, came to say goodbye?" he asked. Audre nodded. She couldn't hide her sadness. "I don't like this. I want to be with you," she said quietly. Aleks took her hand and pulled her closer. "It's not like we'll be separated forever. I'll see you when we get back home." He wrapped his arms around her. "Then we can continue the naughtiness," he whispered in her ear. Audre giggled. She didn't realize when she would ask her father for help. He'd actually want to meet Aleks personally. She felt horrified as she thought what kind of questions her father might've asked Aleks. "Um...how did that go? Meeting with my parents, I mean," she asked awkwardly. Aleks chuckled. "They aren't that bad," he said. Audre felt relieved. "Okay, then you can come with me. I could use your support." Aleks pulled her into a hug and kissed her hair. "I am always here for you, Curls." Audre felt grateful. "Okay," she said and smiled. Steven drove her to her parents' house alongside Aleks. Audre

Audre took a shower and got ready to meet Aleks at the treehouse. Her heart was beating fast as the time drew nearer. She felt restless. She swore to him that she wouldn't let him touch her unless they finished their talk, but she didn't know if she would stop him. It's not that he was the only one who gets turned on when they are close to each other! She quietly left her cabin. Kim and Kimmie were fast asleep. They went to bed early after working an almost 12-hour shift. "Hey you." Audre halted as she heard a voice behind her. She stepped back as she saw a shadow of a man approaching. "Little Audre. Don't you remember me? It's your uncle Kaelan," the man said. Audre remembered instantly. She had seen him passing by when her mom took her to her grandpa's house. He never bothered to say hi to her or tried to have a relationship as her uncle. What was he doing here at her camp of all places? "Yes I know you but why are you here?"

"Do you think Kaelan would go after Audre?" Ansel looked at Elisa thoughtfully. "I wouldn't put it past him. I just can't believe what kind of man he had become. He had always been a kid who got himself wrapped up in bad situations. I tried to help him as best as I could, and I never thought he would fall this far," Elisa shook her head in disappointment. "I know you did, baby," Ansel said and kissed her forehead. "But he doesn't know where Audre is. How would he know that?" "I know, but still...what if he had been following her or something?" Elisa frowned. "You are right. We need to keep a lookout. Good thing the camp is almost over, but until then, maybe I should send someone to keep a watch over her," Ansel said. Elisa shook her head. "Audre will not be happy about this," she said. "I'll make sure she never finds out. So who is it that Kaelan owes money to?" Ansel asked. He hadn't thought about Elisa's brother ever since he almost

Audre decided to confront Aleks about how they met the first time since the last time she asked, he gave her a vague answer. She waited until she was done with work. Then she sneaked away after everyone was asleep. Aleks asked her to meet him at the treehouse earlier, so this was her chance to ask questions. "Guys, stop fighting! You can both play the game," Elisa said irritably as she watched Ira and Ivy fight over the controller. "No, we can't! "What?" Audre asked as Kim kept staring at her in the morning. Audre managed to sneak back inside the cabin with her roommate's knowledge and quietly went to sleep. He may be playing around but seeing him like this turned her on. "But I'm not joking," she whispered and trailed her fingernail across his chest. "Audre I..." Aleks stopped talking and moaned instead as she pressed her lips on his chest. She smiled as she felt him shudder. So she wasn't the only one sensitive to touches. She unbuttoned his shirt and took it off entirely. Aleks tangled his fingers through her hair as she covered his chest with small featherlike kisses. "This isn't going to end well," he growled.
