Chapter 24

Ryan’s point of view

When next I found Marcelene so we could get out of the bar, she was exactly like what she wanted to be and do. She was lighted on the stage, drunk as she twirled around to give one of the sexiest shows ever for both the male and female gazes of those present and showered her their attention.

I rushed to get her down when she was done and aided her stance as we walked out of the bar, people kept applauding her and whistling at her as she leaned on me and blow out kisses.

I finally got her settled in the car as well as worked the belt around her before I went to take my place behind the wheels.

“Gosh tonight was so fun, I’ve never had a night like this in my life. We should do this once again,” she beamed where she was sat with joy all over her face and body.

I smirked at her and zoomed our car into motion. “You got drunk and you think it’s fun?” I shook my head and laughed at her.

“Who told you I’m drunk? I’m so not drunk, I just feel

Chapter 25 Sebastian’s point of view Donna and I arrived at the office in the morning, but she had to go away with the excuse of changing her outfit. I was now left in care of my new secretary, Ryan’s sister and it looks like Donna hasn’t shared with her the rules around here. She knocked on my door and brought a coffee for me. Number one, I do not take coffees anywhere or any types so long as it’s not prepared by myself. Number two which is really very important is, unless I’m unreachable and urgently needs to be reached, you’re not allowed to knock on my door or disturb me, instead make use of the landline attached to your desk. I’m sure Donna didn’t tell her all of this because she wanted her to get on my nerves. “You’re not allowed to knock on my door unless you’ve tried to reach me through the landline provided at your desk multiple times and I was unreachable, only then should you come to my office and knock on my door. I hate disturbance,” I began to address her. “If I tak

Chapter 26 Ryan’s point of view Today wasn’t supposed to go like this. No, not at all. The thought was I’d wake up, go to work, get myself married in a private court, and finish the day with a visit to Seb. Now tell me why it’s not even moon yet and the day has already spiraled out from what I had in mind. Few seconds ago my secretary stormed in with worry written all over her face as she stretched her phone out to me in anxiousness. I took it, confused until I checked out the article displayed on her screen. The Headline boldly stated ‘Once Again, The Art Of Enemies To Lovers Has Proven Itself Solid.’ Sub heading also read that, ‘Billionaire CEO Sebastian Torres private desires for Billionaire Heir, Ryan McCall Growan.’ Below was attached a footage of where I had Seb caged to a car and my face was nearly smashing into his. It was an intimate scene to look at, and I don’t need to read through all the written paragraphs to derive the message conveyed in that article. “Fuck!” I

Chapter 27Sebastian’s point of view What does this person wants from me? He didn’t state, he just dropped on my chest the proof he has to destroy all I’ve built in the snap of his fingers. It’s been three hours since I got his call and texts, he’s been silent ever since. I’ve been on the call, plus text, to trace the anonymous line till I get an identity for myself to work against. I’ve never been destroyed, and it won’t happen now. This is nothing but a sudden hiccup, one I’ll have fixed in no time. But still, there’s this slight panic in me that he could release all those footages of me online right now and there’d be nothing I’d do against me, he’d have me exposed and put my past in public. No one would try to understand me, all they’ll see is a monster, a villain, a man who doesn’t deserve their ears or understanding. I could lose all my investors, the newest ones at least, not the old ones. I could lose them all, my clients inclusive. No one would think that a man has to d

Chapter 28 Ryan’s point of view The ringing of my phone halted my chase after that creepy Xavier of a bitch. I brought out my phone to answer the call. “Hello?” I spoke into the phone. “Good afternoon. We hope we’re on the line with Mister Growan, we would like to inform him about the unfortunate accident that involved his arriving relatives…” bells rang at the heard of the information as my gaze blurred. Grandfather! My aunt! Uncle! “Huh?” My voice had gone ghost. And it seemed like the moment had taken a hit strong enough to gore my serenity. “They’re currently admitted on an emergency treatment at the city’s….” The informant’s voice trailed off my hearing into a shallow background as I broke into a dash. I was back in full speed as I stepped out of the elevator and headed straight for my car. That bastard Xavier! This is a work of his. It was him who threatened me with them minutes ago, and now they’re hospitalized. He planned their accident. How?! How did

Chapter 29 Sebastian’s point of view My parents were divorced before I was born. My father didn’t know about my existence until I was fifteen years old and beside my mother on her death bed. She was diagnosed with a stage four brain tumor that has her death inevitable, it was at that moment she chose to spare the truth and rid the lie I grew up with regarding the story of my father. She never made him the villain in my eyes, albeit that’s who he was. My mom told him he never died, and that they divorced after she caught him cheating on her the fifth time in their six months marriage. She realized he can’t changed, and she can’t spend the rest of her life with him like she intended even though she was pregnant of me at that time. She divorced him, left his home, and never told him about her pregnancy. That was how they separated, and she made sure he could never reach her again, no matter how hard he tries. She gave birth to me, took care of me, and raised me with the lie t

Chapter 30 Ryan’s point of view “Thought you should know, your grandfather is currently in coma with your aunt and uncle,” I said to her as soon as I reached her. She scoffed and shrugged with a raised brows, “I’ll try to care,” came out her cold response. She doesn’t even look interested in what I have to say, and was more focused on Donna who was trying to get a nail on Seb’s location. “Count your days here Vee, I’m gonna get you out of here soon and ruin whatever plan you have to mess with either me or Seb.” I shifted my body to block her view so I could speak directly into her face. She eyes me from above down to my feet, her glare the tip of an iceberg. “Shouldn’t you be worried that your man is on a date with a potential boyfriend?” She morphed a quizzical look at me. Suddenly, the urge to ball my fisted palm into her guts took shelter deep inside of me, and I fought the temptation of how good it’d feel. She’s such a pain in my ass, and for what? We are literal sibl

Chapter 31 Sebastian’s point of view “Where’s this?” I asked as soon as we arrived at the venue Xavier told me he scheduled our appointment with the potential client. I’ve never been here before but if I’m not mistaken, this is like an inward playground for lovers. I mean it’s so obvious, even a dumb cow would be able to tell. Who could be this client? The owner of the business? No offense, but this looks super cheap to me and wouldn’t benefit me in any way. “I asked you for a second chance didn’t I? Begged for it even, but you refuse to give me. So I decided to scheme you into having fun with me.” He broke into a wide smile as he took my hand and dragged me alongside with him inside. We got inside and the first place he took me to was to stargaze. This isn’t what I’d like to do on my Tuesday afternoon, not when there’s a lot on my plate to filter through. “Yeah I’m gonna have to call this date a quit. I need to go call someone, Ryan specifically. And then I’m leaving, Ry

Chapter 32Ryan’s point of view “Yeah beat his ass! Mess the bitch up!” I heard Donna chanting. Adrenaline pumped higher into my system as I increased the force of my punch, he was now unconscious, bloody and I still had no intention of stopping. He was going to regret what he did or the games he think he can play. “That’s enough!” A familiar voice phrased with concern, forward by a touch on my shoulder that sent chills through my blazing body. I halted the punch I was going to nail on his head, and found myself getting off of him and stepping back. It was only then I realized what I’ve done or the damage I’ve caused. I looked around to see camera flashes in the air, and it wouldn’t take a genius to figure out that they’ve recorded all that recently went down. There’s no fixing for my social image and reputation now, it’s finally ruined and shattered completely. I like to think it was worth it, but I hope I’m not wrong. I hope Seb will listen to me, forgive me, and we can finall

I already spoke with the court’s officiators beforehand, as well as our legal marriage registrar, they’re currently waiting for us to be the first they’ll attend to today. He wouldn’t release my psycho brother from jail just because he wanted my downfall, the same brother he knew tried to kill me and nearly had me forever on life support. I simply refuse to think he would. I was seated patiently in the darkness, he should be here in One… Two… The door creaked open, and his hand went straight to the switch. Upon giving light to the room, he met me seated right on his bed, backed up to the headboard with a small remote with just a single button on it. “Mirroring my moves I see,” he said, but I smiled back at him. “I upgraded it,” I told him before I slammed on the remote I have with me and brought down the machine mask also with me over my face. Soon enough, gas flooded out and began to smoke up the whole room. I watched him struggle to react against the gas, but soon fell victim and collapsed on the floor unconscious. It was only then I jumped do

  • The CEO’s Private Desires    Chapter 62

Chapter 62Sebastian’s point of view It just goes on to prove that Ryan truly was a white snake under a white armor, he was no knight for me at all, he’s a snake and has always been. I remember the night Donna came for a sleepover at my house, when she told me about the arranged engagement. We spoke about it all night and kind of agreed that there’s no way Ryan would actually consider the arrangement. Yes at that time a part of me believed he wouldn’t do it because he said he’s in love with me, while the other part just didn’t want an old friend to get into a lifelong of unhappiness. But little did I know that I was the fool, because tell me why Ryan was captured hand in hand smiling as he secretly exit the court with his new wife beside him. I recognized the chick, it was the same girl she brought with him to the club. Why do people betray? Like I’m genuinely confused, why do you feel the need to break someone’s trust and shatter the loyalty they’ve built up for you? Is it a fun

Chapter 50Ryan’s point of view This is another work of Matthew Simmons. I’m sure of it, cause who on earth who else on earth find it amusing to leak private stuffs about me to the internet and put me in a constant state of discussion. It was just recent that pictures surfaced the internet about me and Seb captured in an intimate moment, not too long, barely twenty fours hours later was the news of my marriage.I was in no dark mood, I’m furious. I’ve been like that ever since I got the call to check the latest news. Though I’ve had my team on it again to find out who was the source of this new leak, as well as get rid of the news from the internet. They were already on it, but still doesn’t kill my anger. Who is Matthew Simmons? How is he stalking me effortlessly? He knows I got wedded this morning, knows I went to the club and met up with Seb. How? Just how?! Unless of course he’s getting tips from someone close to me, and who might that be if not the witch I have as a sister.

  • The CEO’s Private Desires    Chapter 60

Chapter 60Sebastian’s point of view It was only fitting I give my little brother a deserving funeral, he might not deserve it, but it’s a deed that’ll preserve my humanity. I had to take him out. I’ve been taking a lot of chances, I’ve been getting tricked a lot lately and it’s enough. I badly wanted to believe him, to think that he’s telling the truth and sincerely wants to be my brother. I do, I wanted to seriously believe him. But then I’m reminded of the so much work Ryan went through to convinced me that he regrets our past and wants a future with me. He professed his false love to me on a national television, the confession was broadcasted live and all round the city. Yet it was to an end, and was never genuine like a part of me wished it would be. It was only a stunt to have me at his whim. No more mercy. No more forgiveness. No more second chances. No more getting fooled. My brother’s death was inevitable, he’s an impulsive psychopath if that’s a thing. He operates on h

Chapter 59Sebastian’s point of view “Wakey wakey little brother, get out of that dream world already.” I tapped repeatedly on his cheek until his drowsy eyes slowly pulled wide and apart till he jerked at the sight of my face. Good one! He’s awake. His head snapped around for a three sixty room inspection. Oh we’re no longer in his apartment, or even somewhere neat enough to conserve his death. I brought him to my private warehouse, where I’ve gotten most of my darkest shit done.“Where are we? What is this place? You?” His furious gaze trailed back to me, deadly and a sight for me to laugh at. I let out a deep breath before I stepped back from him. “This will either be the place you die or the place where you save yourself,” I began, then turned my back and walked over to the table in the room with us. On the table was a tray that carried various items that I’ve had provided for me to draw on his blood and carve pain into his skins. There we have a blade, dagger, a lot of sharp

Chapter 57 Ryan’s point of view It was hard to believe what my mom told me, but even harder to take it all in when she proved the truth to her words. The truth that indeed Sebastian Torres, the man I’ve loved since the early years of my life was my father’s killer. I spent the whole night in serious sober, unable to blink my eyes close for a rest. My head pounded with more thoughts and question than I could control, and only one man could answer all these questions. Only one man, the suspect himself. No. No no he’s not a suspect. I shouldn’t call him that, ‘Maybe that’s because he’s no suspect and rather the confirmed killer of your father,’ a voice in my head jabbed at me. Confirmed killer? I mean yes I watched the video, heard the voice, saw his face, watched him took the goddamn shot and a part of me still thinks it’s all fabricated and Seb remains an angel. Call me pathetic, but I don’t want to believe this. This cannot happen to me!!!! No! It just can’t! The whole co

Chapter 56Sebastian’s point of view The next day arrived and I was up on my bed barely three hours after I settled down for a rest. For me that was enough to rest to start the day. There’s a say that goes around saying there was no rest for the wicked. Well the wicked part of me is on the play and there should be no rest for now. I took my shower and got dressed. He gave me till the noon of today, but I already did most of what was needed to do. All that was left now was the last part of my plan. If only he knew he wasn’t dealing with the old Sebastian, and that the one he thought he could mess with is ruthless and someone he should have never gone against. I got to my office and surprisingly, Donna wasn’t the first face I’d see to welcome me. It was Vivian, and she kind of looks worried. Her worries were none of my concern so I didn’t bother to ask her, I only nodded in response to her greeting and vanished into my office. Somehow a part of me was drawn to her, to the worry o
