Chapter 47: Maia's Morning Sickness

I groaned as I felt the sunlight hitting my eyelashes. I wanted to sleep more to get rid of my morning sickness, but there were just too many distractions in the house. If it wasn’t the strong and hot sun, then it would be the sound of the barn animals early in the morning.

I felt something come up my throat, so I rushed out of bed and into the bathroom. Ugh. Not again. It has been two weeks since we’ve moved to the province and one week since I’ve found out that I’m pregnant. I’ve been hating every second of my pregnancy because I can’t seem to put anything down.

I’ve been craving some fruits for the past week, but I’m still not able to buy any up to this day. I can’t ask my mother to go to the market because she’s still a little bit weak, and I also physically can’t go to the market because commuting makes me feel dizzy.
