Chapter 134 – Putting Margo in her place

Lake pulled over at the side of the road, and Madison quickly unbuckled her seat belt, running out of the car as she began to empty the contents of her stomach.

Lake sighed with relief, appreciating the fact that she cared so much about his car even in a situation like this.

Most people would not have held it in, emptying it in the car, and Lake was certain he would not be able to use the car anymore.

He picked up a bottle of water from his refrigerator compartment, unbuckled his seat belt, and took it to her. This was all his fault.

He was right there and should have stopped her from drinking too much, but he was too engrossed in dancing with her.

“Are you alright?”

Madison did not answer, her mind a blur after she rinsed her mouth with the water and washed her face.

It was cold, making her shiver slightly, but as soon as she sat back in the car, she fell asleep.

Lake decided that it would be better to observe her closely through the night, so he changed direction to his house.
