Iris on the Mind

Donovan had some serious groveling to do.

He realized he needed to be smarter about his jealousy and not push Iris away, especially right now. He couldn't impregnate her if they weren’t having sex. He would suck it up and deal with the fact that the woman he loved loved a married man.

When Iris didn’t answer her phone the four times he called her in the morning he felt he was in deep trouble. He was now under the impression that he had to do something big to win her back.

Little did he know she was simply recovering from her night out with her boyfriend’s wife.

Iris slept until two in the afternoon. While she didn’t have a hangover, she was starving and ready to eat. She saw the wild amounts of missed calls from both Emile and Donovan and ignored them, choosing instead to text her new friend.
