Charlotte’s brain went blank for a moment, and then her heart leaped into a gallop.

The perfect and regal Zachary had wrapped his two powerful arms around her, trapping her tightly in his embrace. His pair of seductive lips were planted firmly on hers, and his tongue was inside of her mouth, twirling and swirling around as if it was searching for a treasure.

Their breaths, the taste of her tears, all of them had mingled together.

Once again, she fell deeper and deeper into his kiss, as if she was falling into a gorgeous dream of beauty.

She was so engrossed in it to the point that she still stood frozen stiff on the spot and could not come around to her senses even though Zachary’s lips had already left her.

Zachary then turned around and left.

A helpless smile turned up the corner of her lips as she watched him walking further and further away.
