They both lunged at me simultaneously, their footsteps making a faint sound as they hit the ground. 

"Soul, go back first." 

She stared at me, bewildered. "What?! Do you want to die?!"

"I'll call you when needed." I forced her inside me as I was left all alone.

They were both running in my direction when I first lunged at that murderer, the guy who introduced himself as Gael back in the academy.

I quickly grabbed him in the face, my grip was tight, wanting to crush him completely. I put all of my power in my feet, then went on a dash as I held on to him.

Gael's body slammed completely on another border, it made a cracking sound as soon as his back hit the object.

I swiftly turned when I felt a dangerous presence behind. Damon raised his fist, shifting his arm into a monstrous state, he was about to punch me when I turned and lifted my right leg, meeting his a
