Marcus couldn't fathom why Miranda hadn't been picking up his calls, and why all of a sudden her number was off. He tried it many times but all to no avail did it go through.

When Miranda got home with Bruce Harry from the boat cruise, she walked into her room and was disappointed that Marcus did not call her throughout the day, she got infuriated and switched off her phone oblivion of the fact that it was her mother, Helga that deleted Marcus calls and messages.

Now that she had a new expensive classic latest phone, she didn't bother to turn on her old phone because she was still angry about Marcus not calling her.
