_Bella Davis' POV_

I stared at the multiple papers that were sent to me this morning from West Tech industry (that was the name of Avery's company). I thought Luke was actually joking when he was talking about me pretending to be Avery's girlfriend yesterday, seems he was actually quite serious.

I flip through the papers i was expected to read and sign by this twelve noon, and I was expected to memorize at least some basic things in Avery's life because I would be going to see him by twelve noon as well.

Today is going to be a long day.

I looked at the wall clock by my left, the time is currently fifteen minutes past nine so i had barely three hours to read and memorize everything I could about the obnoxious egotistical billionaire Avery Tamer.

Just great.

Grabbing the cup of coffee I just made and moving over to my tiny table by the wall side, careful not to hit anything in my cramped up apartment which was really just a single room.

I set the papers down, taking a sip frombmy cup and putting on my glasses. Let's get this over and done with.

I picked up the contract reading it carefully.

A Contract between the contractor West Tech Industry and The Contractee Bella Davis.

Contract time is not definite and could be for a few weeks,a few months and even a few years until Avery Tamer regains his memory. Until the time of contract elapses you would be a contracted worker for The West Tech industry.

Hold on! A few years? Depending on what? What if he never regains his memory? I'm not saying that he won't, I'm just saying what if.

Am I expected to still pretend to be his girlfriend even then? What if he asks me yo marry him? Should I marry someone I don't have any feelings for? This needs to be changed.

Ignoring that, which i took as an obvious mistake, i continue reading.

No part of this contract may be edited or changed.

So I'm just supposed to take everything without editing anything I didn't like?

You are expected to accept everything without editing them even if you don't like them.

Clause One.

No one is to know of this contract  which includes Avery himself and any one from the Tamer family, the knowledge of this to an extra party would lead to immediate termination of this contract and a penalty.

Clause Two.

You are expected to move in with Avery for the period of the contract. Your apartment is simple not adequate.

I couldn't help but laugh when I read that.

I should move in?

Yeah no. I am not moving in with that man, I am definitely not going to be doing that. One of us would die if I do that. And it wouldn't be me.

Clause three

At the beginning of every month you are to be getting a payment of ten million dollars which would be sent to the account which has been created for you

No, no.

This is actually too much. I can't accept this.

I made a mental note of all the clauses i needed to be edited which apparently was all of them brcause it had just three clauses.

Thank goodness.

Bringing my phone out of my pocket I dial Luke's number. He answers on the first ring.

"I want everything changed. I can't pretend to like him for years and I can't move in with him and I cant accept that amount of money. Change them all." I say all in one breath hoping he heard me and I didn't need to repeat.

"Good morning princess. How are you doing? I'm fine, thank you for asking. I slept wonderful too. Thanks for caring. Wonderful weather we are having, don't you think?" He quips and I roll my eyes at his sarcasm.

I really wasn't in the mood for all these this morning.

" How are you Princess?" I ask sarcastically picking up the papers containing Avery's information.

"Why isn't Bella here yet?" I hear Avery ask in the background so I'm guessing Luke was currently with him thrn.

"She's on her way. I think." Luke replies to him and I roll my eyes. On my way, my ass.

"Look Bella. We both know Avery won't be this eay for long, and your current apartment is not safe for a young woman like yourself to be in. No one would believe that Avery Tamer's girlfriend is staying in q place like that so they would obviously think that something is off. And we both know you need the money, so don't refuse it. Sign the contract, read Avery's files and comr here as quickly as you can." And with that the line went dead.

I guess I can't get myself out of this. Picking a pen up, I sign on the contract as quickly as I could, closing it up.

I have an hour and thirty minutes to go through Avery's file and get ready to see him.

I just hope none of his family members are there.

My notification sound came on and I looked at my screen, it was a text from Luke.

'The latest iphone is being sent to you along with some clothes. You can't be using that phone as Avery's girlfriend. Gotta make the story believable.'

Oh my days.

After reading through his files and memorizing as much as I could.

Avery Micheal Tamer. Born on 16th March 1996. Last child of his parents and the CEO of West Tech industry.

Well that much everyone knows.

He has two pet cats, billions of houses around the globe. He apparently loves gaming and Riding horses and reading?

He has an on and off girlfriend and they broke up recently.

That means i have a rival.  Just great.

After reading through everything as fast as I could. I showered and dressed up, wearing the clothes Luke sent over. And soon enough I was standing in front of his skyscraper. Not sure of why exactly I was here.
