“No one knows who they are. They never wanted to be known and so they sent someone anonymous to drop the baby at the orphanage. Now I don’t even know where to start from.”

Daniel’s mood changed drastically. It looks like they were going to dig deep in to somebody’s life but he didn’t care as long as he was doing the right thing to save Maya’s life. He had to do this not because he wanted to be closer to Nora but because he genuinely loved Maya.

Daniel and Nora went back to Maya’s room only to see Violet. She was crying her eyes out as she held on to her tiny hands. Seeing the adorable Maya in that state brought tears in her eyes.
