Chapter 4

Raven and Stephan's eyes met, and this time the man's eyes were playful as if nothing had happened. Raven averted her eyes and landed on the guy who was sitting and looking at her intensely, Raven chose to lower her head while the three were talking. 

"Why are you still here?" A magnetic voice woke Raven's sleeping spirit, and her face flushed. 

Cohen stepped forward in front of Raven to block her and said, "I'm sorry Sir. You do know that everyone is mesmerized by your beauty." 

Cohen pushed Raven, and she walked out the door without saying a word, the whole time she was inside she couldn't breathe. She was thinking over and over again. 

"What is Stephan's deal? Stephan is his Secretary." 

Raven paused and was in deep thought, and when she heard the door open she said, "Miss Cohen! I changed my mind. I won't work here anymore!"

 

With her eyes completely shut, Raven's knees began to shiver. 

"What? Are you sure?" Stephan's voice was scarier enough that it made Raven pin herself to the wall with trembling eyes 

Stephan stood up like a model as he placed both hands in both pockets of his pants, and a smirk formed on his lips. He asked her again, "Are you sure?" 

Raven was torn and looked bravely at Stephan even though her body failed to do so. She said. "I don't know what kind of demon you are, but you are worse than a demon because of what you are doing." 

Raven only told him in a whisper tone, and Stephan chuckled and turned his back at Raven saying, "It's none of your business. If I were you, I will do what I tell you because you know what was coming." 

Stephan reached her ear, and Raven flinched, he said. "I have my eyes and ears around, be careful." 

Their position was like a two couple kissing, Stephan's hand was placed on top of Raven's head as a support for his position, Raven's height was 5'5, and Stephan was 5'11. They stayed in that position, and Stephan's face turned reddish which made Raven confused. 

"Sir Stephan? Mr. Borja wants you immediately." Cohen said while looking at them 

Stephan didn't say any words and winked at Cohen, and she screamed softly as she looked at Raven and said, "What is the meaning of that?"

Raven looked at Cohen without any emotion, and Cohen clicked her tongue and said, "Based on your expression---you are not swayed. Congratulations, you are the first one!" 

'Swayed? He was trying to kill me earlier!' 

"Come on, follow me," Cohen said, and Raven released a breath of relief.

Cohen and Raven entered the room that seems to be the headquarters of the cleaners. It was much grander than Raven expected. 

They had an office, a place for them to rest even had their lockers it was nothing like she expected. 

Raven sat on the sofa and waited for Cohen to return but while she was waiting Raven remembered what Stephan said. 

'I have my eyes and ears around, be careful.' 

Raven was in deep thought before she realized Cohen was in front of her, and when Cohen sat in front of her, she said, "Here is your uniform, your I.D, and your employee pass inside Mr. Borja's room." Cohen smiled while she was handling everything in Raven's hand. 

Raven was silently getting those things that Cohen was giving her and felt something heavy on her head and just looked at the stuff and placed them on her lap. She looked at Cohen. 

Cohen is a 42 y.o woman with glasses on her eyes. She doesn't look old enough because her face and heart were young for her age. Raven was about to utter a word of gratitude when she felt a presence behind her ear. 

"You don't look that happy for this job." An unfamiliar voice came out from the back of Raven's ear that made her flinch. Raven turned and saw a girl with short hair overly make-up face that suited her well and a janitress uniform that looked fit on her sexy body 

"You should have taken the job at the office." She said with an attitude, and Raven looked at her. 

Raven shrugged her shoulder and said, "I'm very much comfortable with this job." 

The girl smirked and said, "Sure, comfortable to flirt enough. Stay away from Stephan!" 

The girl walked away from where Raven was and slammed the door shut as soon as she got out, Cohen laughed, and Raven looked at Cohen with an unbelievable feeling. 

"Don't mind Chin. She's nice, she just saw you and Stephan earlier, a die-hard fan." 

Raven nodded and said, "Yeah, nice enough." 

Cohen smiled and said, "See you tomorrow. This is your schedule." after she said that she reached for a laminated index card and gave it to Raven. "Nice meeting you, Raven." 

Raven bowed, and with her hand full of things she walked out of the door and went straight to the lobby to leave. Raven felt this day was super long even though she was only inside for a few hours, it feels like an eternity. Raven was out of the building of the heavy rain suddenly increased. 

"Really now?!" She shouted, and with a split second she was drenched with water, and all her things and clothes were wet. 

Raven clicked her tongue and was about to go back to the building when she closed her eyes because she didn't want to go back there. 

Raven felt that no rain hit her skin even though she hadn't passed any shelter, Raven looked up, and her eyes followed the arm that was holding the umbrella and was surprised. 

"Mr. Borja, you're getting wet!" She said in a panic.

Raven quickly removed the umbrella that was on her head to transfer it to Mr. Borja, but the man smiled, and Raven felt like it was a shining sun on her face. 

"Use it. You need it more than I do." With that said, the man placed the umbrella in her hand and ran in a different direction 

As the man walked away, this imprinted on Raven's mind the kindness and everything they had done just now. 

"This man is so nice that Stephan wanted to destroy him.." Raven thought to herself, but she was about to take another step when she realized...

There must be something about him that Stephan badly wanted to expose him...
