Diva’s POV.

I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't hear Ivery's voice until she spoke again.

“I think I should get going,” she said, her voice shaking.

It was then that I realized I had been imagining the whole scene – I had not hit her, and Franco had not slapped me. I was overcome with relief, and I took a deep breath to steady myself.

“Why do you want to go now?” I said, my anger getting the better of me. “I thought you came here to seduce my boyfriend, so why are you leaving without accomplishing your mission?”

Ivery’s eyes widened, and she took a step back.

“That's not true!” she protested, her voice quivering.

“What's not true?” I asked.

“I'm not trying to seduce your boyfriend!” she insisted. "I'm just a friend! Please, you have to stop with all this nonsense.”

“Then why are you here so late?” I countered, my anger building.

I turned to Franco, who looked at me with a pained expression.

“Please, Diva,” he said, his voice calm and steady. “Just stop. There's not

One thing I knew for sure was that she was mad at me, and I felt a little guilty about that. But I also knew that I had no control over her emotions, or my emotions. And that I couldn't force her to feel a cert
