Travis jumping from different creatures to kill was a successful one alone but he knew that going into the den of the vampires alone was like signing a death warrant so he call for help. One hunter died leaving five remaining so they set out to fight the vampires. Since the love between Lucy and Travis, they have never had to take a car to a place or a walk. It was just a hit on the ground and then Ka boom they are at their destination. That is the advantage of dating a witch. The other hunters stood a little bit distance from Trivas as he struck the mable on the earth creating a portal.
