CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

“If you can stop smiling at other men like a cheap whore, I won't speak to you like that. All of you are just the same.” He yelled back at her while Ashely stared at him in disdain.

Ashely's chuckled at what he said “ Cheap whore that's what you have always thought of me” Ashely said tears threatening to fall from her eyes while Alan rubbed his hands on his face in frustration.

“Ashely” “D…don't you dare call me” Ashely said, raising her fingers at him and walking off to her room.

Alan stood up walking to the wine bar on the other side of the living room, he sat on one of the high seats, pouring himself a glass of whiskey and gulping it in a go. He didn't mean to call her a cheap whore but it just happened in the heat of things and it hurts him so much because he knows she is anything but not a whore.

“Of all things, he could only think of me as a cheap whore” Ashley mumbled tears shimmering down her chin. She stood for long in the shower allowing the water to wash off her pains.
