CHAPTER SIXTY-EIGHT

The ray of the sunlight scorched through the window bringing light into Ashley’s room. She arose, rubbing her eyes as she glanced at the emptiness of the room.

Today she is leaving everything behind and moving to Los Angeles or better still running away from her husband. She was not entirely in the best mood but she was glad she made the decision for her unborn baby.

She went about her morning duties; Cleaning the living room and Alan’s room when she was done, she was served that small portion of food yet again.

“I made the best decision. '' She mumbled, scoping the last spoonful of food inside her mouth.

Alan left for work like the normal usual days not knowing that his life was about to change, the wife he had locked away from the world was finally taking a bold step to run away for the safety of their child whom he solely hated to talk about.

Ashley glanced at her reflection for the last time “Ma the coast is clear, if we leave now we won't get caught” The worker informed Ashley.
