CHAPTER EIGHTY- NINE

The announcement came in signaling that they were about to land, Ashley who had been sleeping throughout the flight woke up at the sound of it.

She clutched Alan’s hand “Are you okay baby?” He asked.

“Hmm” She nodded, she knew Alan was never going to hurt her but her gut feeling was telling her that something might happen and she kept praying that it wouldn't tear them apart.

They finally landed, Ashley arranged herself with the help of Alan before they alighted from the plane, Sean had to go pick up the luggage because Alan was helping Ashley to the car.

The drive home was a quiet one, they had to drop off Sean before heading over to the mansion.

Ashley glanced at the mansion when they got out of the car, her memories in this house visibly flashed in front of her as she faltered a bit, Alan sensed her hesitation making him put a hand across her shoulder.

“I know this house reminds you of all the memories you don't want to remember, but I have changed everything inside it,” Alan said
