CHAPTER EIGHTY-FIVE

Alan quickly placed the order and walked back to Ashley he didn't want to be away from her for even a second.

“The food would be here soon,” He said, leaning to her level.

“Thank you” She smiled, staring at Alan who hadn't stopped gazing at her.

“You are glowing,” He complimented.

“I bet I look fat” She rolled her eyes.

“I am not lying, you look good” He winked at Ashley who turned crimson red.

“Didn't you get enough sleep?” She asked caressing his eye bags which was like a soothing therapy to him.

Nodding “I was scared” Ding Dong the sound of the bell interrupted them.

“I will get the door” He headed outside and came back in a trolley containing a variety of food.

Scratching his head “I wasn't sure of what you wanted to eat,” He smiled nervously.

Ashley dished her food and Alan’s own as they ate in comfortable silence.
