"Alright, we have it under control." I heard the voice of Flora, my best friend, in my ear through earpiece.
"This wig is too fucking itchy." I cursed under my breath as I walked further crossing the people in the hall. The hall is huge because of course hundred of people will be bidding on one single shiny rock today, in millions.
Taking a few steps ahead my eyes fell on Logan Walker, his face screams manwhore. He would run after anything with boobs. But, considering he is a thief himself, a professional one not to forget, so it wouldn't take him long to figure out what I am here for. Logan may be the manwhore of the group but he is the best in what he do. Stealing.
I mentally cancelled him from the list, walking ahead when my eyes found the another member, Shawn Grey. He is the programmer of the team. He is the smartest among the all in the group with an IQ above 250.
It is said that he can hack any computer in any part of the world and you would never know he was there. If I am right, he might be the one handling technical security today.
He sips on his drink slowly ignoring the existence of every human around him. Never knew a person could be this disinterested in the world around him. There is no way I can get anything out of him when he won't even look me in the eyes for a damn straight minute.
Cancelling him from the list I headed further when the lady of the group caught my attention, Crystal Diaz. The manager of the group, she handles all legal businesses for Nicolas Russo but what people seem not to know is that she is also a trained fighter who can kill you with one right move, of course, if she wants to. With the legal business she also handles all the underground fights too. She can even put a man in the underground battle to shame.
Since she looked busy in dealing with the people around her while going through all the files. Too much paper work. I thought as I sighed mentally.
I cancelled her too, focusing my gaze on the last and only target, Nicolas Russo. He had his one hand resting inside his pocket while his other hand was occupied in holding the glass of drink.
Nicolas Russo is well known for his extremely high temper and leading skills. His dark brown hairs and grey eyes is one popular combination girls die for. The sharp jawline of his and sharp-edged pointed nose is something that makes every man envy of his looks.
Now, I just have to take the key from that pocket of his and disappear like a ghost with that shiny stone before they can even realise what they have lost.
When I took steps further, intentionally, bumping into him. The drink in his hands spilled all on his clothes and some on mine. "WATCH IT, JACKASS!" I yelled because going weak in front of Nicolas Russo will sure end up for you 6 feet under the ground.
"EXCUSE ME!?" As expected he crossed his arms against his chest, narrowing his brows at my face as his eyes turned a slight shade of red in anger.
"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" He screamed ready to loose the little amount of patience in him and took the gun out of his waistband ready to aim it at my head.
But lucky for me, my guardian angel of the day, Shawn Grey his programmer walked in on our conversation and said, "Boss, the meeting is in 5." He informed him and I took it as my cue to run away and look for the shiny rock.
"Mission key, accomplished." I smirked victoriously as I informed about the little victory to my best friend through the earpiece.
"Just get the damn diamond and get out of there." I heard her tell me. I knew she was concerned for me and to be honest messing with Russo's was never in our plan even when we started stealing things 7 years ago. But time changes and so does situations. It's all about those unavoidable situations that forces you to take risks like these.
But I know it is worth it.
Pushing all the thoughts aside in the corner of my mind, I opened the door looking at the locker right in front of me. I am this close to finishing this mission. Closing the door behind me as I entered the room I rushed towards the locker.
When I opened the door of the locker instead of victorious smile a curse left my mouth when my eyes witnessed the another password locker.
"Damn it!" I muttered under my breath and Flora seem to caught it because she questioned.
"What is it, Zyra?" She asked, worry evident in her voice.
"There is a passcode locker, Flo." I informed her clenching my teeth in anger.
"I got you." She spoke in the earpiece and followed by her words, she added, "I need a quick minute to decode it."
I waited impatiently as she ran her fingers on the keyboard probably at the house doing all the shit while I sat here useless.
"Damn you! Shawn." She cursed and I couldn't help but wonder if it really is that bad.
"Zyra, I am gonna need 5 more minutes. If I hack this right now they will be able to track us down later. I gotta crash his system first." She explained and I waited as she did her part of work.
Nicolas Russo, head of the black auction market sells precious stones and priceless paintings. He is been in this business for 10 years now but nobody managed to get his hands on his illegal business and get him behind the bars. Because in the eyes of whole world he is a top class business but everybody knows what goes behind the curtains. Except, noone managed to prove it.
"It's done." Flora's happy voice rang in my head and I didn't wasted another second before taking the shiny green rock out of the locker and sprinting away from the hall.
This rock is going to change a lot of things, I thought.

I seethed in anger on the thought of a girl tricking all my team and managing to steal the Dresden green diamond. "Apart from her blonde hairs and brown eyes." Crystal interrupted. "We have her face in cctv footage. But it doesn't matches with any result. It's like she never existed." Shawn explained and I couldn't help the feeling of wrath consuming me on the thought of a girl tricking us. "She looks hot." Logan's voice reached our ears when he was eyeing the girl in the cctv footage like a fucking creep. Crystal and I rolled our eyes while Shawn face palmed on how Logan's mind works. Flora's voice fell in my ears and I knew what was going on in her mind. "No. He is really here." I confirmed and the color drained from her face and the look of shock took over. I turned around to look at the owner of the voice only to come face to face with the manwhore of the team. Logan Walker. "Ex-fucking-cuse me?" I was already pissed after dealing with two assholes today and god just keeps adding in it. "Are you a light switch cause you turn me on." He winked at me, still keeping his stupid pick up lines. I take he is not good in reading obvious facial expressions. "This pick up line expired ages ago with your brain." I replied with a straight face. In response his lips only tugged upward when he smirked, "Feisty, just my type." The fuck is wrong with these people today! "Say another word and my fist would do the talking." Logan gushed walking inside the room with a man whore smirk plastered on his face.Everyone in the room, including me, looked at him as if he needs his head to be examined and honestly he really does."What are you talking about?" Flora sighed as she plopped down on the soft couch.I put the book down when she spoke. Even though she didn't mentioned anything but I know what she is talking about. The whole stabbing wound thing that happened in the Russo penthouse.Honestly, it was pretty fucking close."But you lied, smoothly." I said, appreciating her for her presence of mind because for once I though I really lost it. My mind."It just slipped." Flora shrugged as if it is no big deal which makes me wonder that if she really is such a good liar how many times has she lied to me?"Does that make you a liar, Flo?" I wiggled my eyebrows at her, teasingly. Because there are a few things Flora hate being called. One of them happen to be the word liar. Even though she knows that we are."I would like to

"You sure, she will be there?" Crystal asked him. Which somehow reminds me of their secret hidden relationship. I haven't confronted them about it yet. And, I am not even going to talk to two pf my teammates about their forbidden love and all that shit. If they want me to to know I would know. Till then, I don't know. Period. Two bowls, one of pickle and another of chocolate rests on the table and we are strictly ordered to keep my eyes off that food, because apparently, that weird combination of food only belongs to her. We would not even like to ruin our taste buds with that. Thank you very much. "Does it matter?" Flora asked me, holding the glass of warm milk in her hand that Zyra needs to drink to digest all the food she has been eating lately. "She would not stop, anyways." She shrugged. "Why don't you talk to her about it?" I tell Flora, because if I would go to talk to her she would start throwing things at me, which includes everything from cushion to flower vase.
