I was seated at the corner of the dimly lit room I had been thrown into a day before, hungry, tired, and in need of a bath. I had sat here for a day, debating on what my fate was going to be. The man that I had seen, was referred to as the devil king, at least, that was what his barbaric followers called him.

I only got a glimpse of his face, and that huge grin he had was anything but nice. It was eerie, and it made the hairs at the back of my neck stand straight.

He said he was not going to feast on me, but why had I been brought here? And why had I been left here for a whole day? I rubbed my eyes, looking at my surroundings and taking in the rather eccentric design of the bedroom.

The walls were lined with crimson tapestries that looked like they were woven from the entrails of some mythical creature. The floor was made of black obsidian stones, and they were polished to a high shine, reflecting the eerie red light that emanated from the walls.
