we laid in bed with Jane watching Princess movies until she fell asleep. after we were sure she was asleep, I went to lay her in her own bed in her new room.

"Where are you taking her?" Alexander whispered

"To her own bed," I said

" Why?" he questioned."It's an Alaskan king bed. Your brothers would have enough room to sleep with us."

"I don't want her to get in the habit of sleeping in our bed," I said sternly.

"Look, it's my first night with both my girls. Can you please just let me soak it in?" Alexander pouted.

"Fine!" I whispered. "Just this one night and one night ONLY."

"ok," Alexander smiled, kissing me on the cheek as he took Jane from my arms and laid her on his chest. "she's getting a little too long for this."
