A cold night

[DAVID CHWE — The Night!]

"This…is not fair! How can I, possibly?" David, whose clothes were soaking wet from the rain, hissed from the depths of his lungs — pity floating furiously in the waves of his voice.

He limped into his apartment while crying a song of misery that he couldn't see at the end of the tunnel. His heart was aching — he felt like the end of the world was just a mile away. His veins were criminally enslaved by despair and hopelessness.

Not long ago, a car had almost hit him over whilst his head was dwelling in unpleasant thoughts that broke into his heart. He did not care, he wished the car should have just hit him and maybe he wouldn't have to revisit the pain that was vehemently knocking on the doors of his soul.

With immense hatred and carelessness, David threw his backpack on the floor before banging his head on the door. He unceremoniously collapsed to the floor, dejected and embraced by deadly emotions that seemed to want to rip his heart off of his system.
