"Bangs, I missed you so much!" she beamed while she gazed at him. "Did you miss me too?"

He nodded jerkily. "Lesley," he softly uttered as if saying a prayer while staring into her captivating brown eyes. He felt like he hadn't seen her in weeks. He smiled warmly and then caressed her cheek. "I can't believe you're here."

Lesley smiled wider and cupped his face. "You are not dreaming if that is what you're thinking," she said, releasing him. "It's good that they allowed me to see you. I thought it would take longer. I was very worried. How are you here? Do you feel better?"

"I'm still alive," he said proudly.

She laughed. "Is it that bad?"

"I will be better if I can see you every day."

"Oh, Bangs," she said, sighing. "I was so worried when they said you were locked up. But now that I've seen and talked to you, I feel better. I see that Iston is taking good care of you. Also," Lesley quickly scanned his room, "your room is much better than I had imagined. I'm a little less worried now
