Avery knew that whatever she said would only fall on deaf ears. So, she turned to Xavier and said, "Mr. Jackson, I would like to request a viewing of the security footage from the pantry camera."

Violet's face fell. "What do you mean by that?"

Avery ignored her and looked at Xavier again. "Can we do that, Mr. Jackson?"

Xavier glanced at Violet and saw that she suddenly looked unsure of herself.

It wasn't like Violet could openly protest Avery's suggestion since everyone's eyes were on her. She could only nod in response. "Then, check the security cameras for all I care! I'm not afraid of anything!"

Xavier's phone was connected to the security system, but he didn't have permission to view the footage on it. Only Eason had the authority to do so.

So, Xavier called up Eason and asked him about it. Eason then asked him for the reason.

Xavier didn't want to hide things from his boss, so he summarized the incident and explained it as briefly as possible to Eason.
