Mia's POV

"You're Mia?" Lycidas asked.

He didn't look all that shocked, which surprised me. Considering how eager he had been to find his mate, I had expected that he would have some big reaction when he finally learns that I am actually the one, especially as he had been near me all these while.

"I am," I replied. "You don't seem shocked at all," I commented.

"I guess I had been expecting it, even if I didn't know it." he said. "Now I think about it, ther have been hints throughout these three days that you're the one,"

He shrugged. "Mason's slip of tongue, the scent on the gloves, you didn't have a wolf, like Mia, you took the introductions from Mabel the first day I was here. And our intense hate for each other. I guess they never really clicked till now,"
