Mia's POV

I mean, while I did not like her, I did not actively hate her either. I understood where her rage toward me was coming from and it was not like I was nut beating myself up over it as well.

Martha's eyes filled with tears as she nodded, her hands gripping Michael's arm for support. "I understand, Alpha Fenrir. I just wish there was another way."

Michael offered Martha a reassuring smile, his voice steady despite the uncertainty in the air. "We have to trust Alpha Fenrir's judgment, Martha. He knows what he's doing."
