ENZO

I stopped in my tracks when I saw the cloaked servant from a while ago cooking some type of meal.

Now that I entered her home, I smelled her sweet scent once more, and it made me grimace.

Peach.

She smells of peach.

It was pleasant to the nose, but just knowing that it was coming from an omega made my stomach churn.

I was about to head out of the cottage when she suddenly spoke.

"Weston, you're back?" she said in a bubbly voice, very in contrast with how anxious she sounded a while ago.

Weston? Who the fuck is that?

"You came right on time. I just finished making dinner."

She walked over to where I was, and I frowned when I saw that she was still wearing her cloak.

She chuckled and tried to hold onto my hand to lead me to the dining area, but I took a step back before our skin could make contact.

She froze. "Weston, Is there something wrong?"

I couldn't respond. The moment I would open my mouth to speak, I knew that she would know that I wasn't this "Weston" guy.

So, I just opted to leave.

However, the sound of my stomach grumbling made me stop in my tracks.

I pursed my lips together and let out a deep breath.

Talk about my fucking luck.

Her suspicion changed into that of amusement, and she walked over to the kitchen to set up the table.

"Come," she said. "You should eat. I made your favorite today, and I also had some time to bake some desserts."

I stood in my spot and hesitated to follow after her. However, there's no harm in having a free meal, right?

I couldn't eat well back in the castle because the taste of the food were either flavorless or too flavorful.

And besides, once we eat, she'll probably take her cloak off, right? That's another thing I could get. After seeing her face, I feel like I'll finally get over my fixation. The only reason why I'm staying here right now is for the food and for her reveal.

I sat down on the chair and looked at the simple meal on the table. It wasn't as fancy or extravagant as the ones served at the castle, but it still aroused my appetite.

I took the spoon to scoop up some of the stew into my mouth. A groan left my lips as soon as the myriad of flavors exploded on my tongue.

Fuck.

This tastes too good.

And to think that an omega cooked this.

She chuckled when she heard me vigorously digging in.

"Were you that hungry? You should have come back here sooner if you were. I already ate a snack a while ago, so I'll eat later on."

I clicked my tongue. I thought I would finally be able to see her face.

"Why are you so quiet today?" she asked. "You're only like this when you're upset."

I didn't respond and continued eating. Well, it's not like I had any other choice. After finishing this meal, I'm going to go back to where our car is parked.

"You're still not talking, huh?" she chuckled. "Is it because of what happened back in the castle? I don't understand why you'd be upset because of that. It's not like it's the first time that it has happened," she said.

I continued listening to her as I ate.

"Queen Grace has never liked me, so it's expected that she talks that way. My cousins, too, are quite childish, but I think it's because of the pressure of being young royals."

She tried to make her tone happier, but I could still notice the sadness lingering in her voice.

"But I'm okay. I really am. I've gotten used to their words. Even if I have their last name, I know that they don't want me as their family."

I stopped mid-chew and looked at her.

She has the same last name as the royal family? How could a blind omega have the same last name as them?

"I guess it's still good to meet Isabelle. She's still kind as ever," she said, joy evident in her voice. "Can you believe it? She's getting married! We talked about it as kids, and she always wanted to marry at a young age. I guess she's fulfilling that wish soon."

I don't know her whole story, but I guess she's quite close to Isabelle.

"I heard she's getting married to Prince Enzo. They say he's quite handsome, but of course, I can't really confirm if that's true. There's one thing that's certain, though..."

I had already finished eating, but I didn't leave. I leaned against the table to listen to her next words.

I was already smiling after she called me "handsome," so I wanted to hear more about what she had to say about me.

"He was rude," she suddenly said, causing my smile to drop. "I know that I shouldn't judge him by our first encounter, but I can't help but think that he's rude. I just hope that I'm wrong, and he's actually a pretty decent guy."

Damn, right. Of course, I'm a decent guy! Who is she to tell me that I'm rude?

"Anyway, let's not talk about him anymore. I hoped he would be a better man for Isabelle."

I silently scoffed and looked to the side. If she only knew—the Lockhart family is practically coercing me to marry Isabelle.

I bit my lip to control the words threatening to leave my lips, then I suddenly felt a fluffy creature right on top of my thigh.

I exclaimed in shock and stood up from my seat, causing the cat to drop to the ground. I glared at the white, fluffy cat and moved away. I've never been fond of such animals. They look lovely, but they're actually deadly creatures.

The cloaked omega gasped.

"Lucky," she called the monstrous being. "Come here."

Like an obedient servant, "Lucky" went onto her lap and innocently purred.

"You're still afraid of him?" she asked. "I thought you had already gotten over your irrational fear of Lucky! He's just a fluffy boy. He's not going to hurt you."

"Here," she suddenly said, walking over to where I was with the fluffy creature in her arms.

I didn't have any time to react. She went so close to me that her peachy scent invaded my nostrils.

Before I could move back, she held onto my hand and placed it right over the cat, gently guiding my hand to pet him.

I froze in my spot as she did so. Honestly, I didn't know how to react. An omega was touching me, yet I wasn't disgusted.

"Your hands are cold," she said, her voice joyful. "They feel nice."

I felt the soft fur in my hands, yet I wasn't so focused on that. Instead, I was focused on how warm and smooth her hand is. It felt like a nice contrast against my overly-cold hand.

"Wait," she said, her voice suddenly becoming suspicious. She caressed my hand and felt it's roughness and veins.

She placed down her cat and wrapped her arms around my shoulders.

My eyes widened in surprise due to her bold movement.

Is this blind servant actually seducing me?

She took a sharp intake of breath before abruptly moving away from me.

"You're not Weston, are you?"

Thank you for accommodating us.”“No need to thank us. We have already prepared everything for your stay. Although I would much prefer to stay here downstairs with Matthew, I was thankful that Isabelle and I didn’t have to share a room with each other. “Well then, let us lead you to your rooms.”The servants escorted Matthew to his room while Queen Grace led me to mine.“Your room is right here,” she said. “I hope you enjoy your stay. I tried this a couple more times, but they only resulted in the same event. My cousins’ laughter resounded once more, continually teasing me for my struggles. I turned toward their direction.“Can you—can you help me please?” I asked, swallowing my pride. As much as I tried, I don’t think I’ll be able to get out of here without anybody else’s help.“But you look so comfortable!” Evelyn exclaimed. “We’ll leave for a while, so try to enjoy your stay, alright?”“Wh—what?” I stammered. “You’re going to leave me here?”They chuckled, then I heard their chattering and chuckles becoming more and more distant. “Wait! Trigger Warning: This chapter contains mature sexual content. Read at your own discretion. ENZO I don't even know what I'm doing back here. I stared at the humble cottage right before my eyes and shook my head in disbelief. I just wanted to walk around since I felt suffocated in the mansion, but before I even knew it, my feet led me here—back to the blind omega's cottage. Keilah—that's her name. I heard it after that Weston guy called for her. "Fuck," I muttered under my breath. I should head back and forget about her existence. She's an omega—the kind that I hate, and I shouldn't let my beliefs be swayed just because I'm curious about what she looks like. I turned away from the cottage and started walking back, when I smelled the familiar scent of peach getting stronger and stronger than before. I frowned. That's fucking strange. Why does her scent smell even sweeter than usual? Am I hallucinating? It turns out, I wasn't hallucinating; because the next thing I knew, I

KEILAHI opened my eyes as I felt the sunlight trickling from the windows. Then, pain erupted in my body.At that moment, I also remembered everything that had happened last night. I was in my heat, and that was the very first time that someone had helped me get through it.That’s when the tears came streaming down my face. He saw my face, and I clearly remember the way he didn’t even let me kiss him last night.I didn’t have any clothes on except for the blanket he had left me. Even at this point, I can still smell his scent on my body.“You’ve got what you wanted,” his last words echoed in the back of my mind. What does he mean by that?Is he insinuating that I was using my heat against him? If that is what he’s thinking, then he’s wrong. I know that it’s not an excuse that I wasn’t in my right mind, but still, he’s also one to blame for how the situation panned out.

KEILAH "What?" I asked, his words not registering in my mind yet. Servant? "I said—be my servant. Is that too hard to comprehend?" he asked. "But, why me?" I asked. "I didn't do anything wrong to you." He chuckled coldly, taking a step forward. I felt his body right in front of me, yet I couldn't move. The power he was emanating was too much that it made me weak in the knees. "You said you'd do anything, right?" I pursed my lips together and looked to the side. "Don't involve Keilah in any of this," Weston interrupted. "You've already done enough. Face me like a man." "Then, face me in a battle," he said in a cocky voice. "I'm not that hard to please. Whatever you say, goes." "Fine," Weston said. "It's not like I can't beat you anyway." I closed my eyes to think for a second. "When will it be?" Weston challenged. "As soon as possible," Enzo said. KEILAHI let out a tired sigh as I wiped my sweat with my cloak. Enzo ordered me to wash all his clothes, and the amount of clothes he has for a month's stay is honestly ridiculous. I don't even know why he wants me to wash all his clothes again when they've been newly sent-out by his family. But, I couldn't really defy his words, so I just let it be. He also wants me to hand wash all of these, which just makes it more difficult. It's a good thing that Marilyn helped me separate the colored clothes from the white ones; otherwise, I don't even know how I'd manage. "Last batch," I muttered under my breath, trying to cheer myself up. I tried convincing myself that this is nothing compared to everything I've been through. I got up from the small chair and stretched my back after I finished washing the clothes. I only had to rinse them one more time, so I excitedly tipped over the soapy water down the drain to replace it with clean water. However, as I went to fetch some clean water,

I can't believe I assumed that she looked ugly when she literally looks like that. You must really have high standards if you think she's just alright. She's even prettier than all the other princesses combined."I didn't know why I was being agitated by the way he spoke about Keilah, so I sighed and crossed my arms in front of my chest. My eyes trailed down from his forehead down to his chin, ever-so-lightly tracing it with my index finger. Everything just feels so surreal right now. He chuckled as he felt the ticklish sensation on his skin. "Baby, how long are you going to be staring at me?" he asked in an amused tone. I smiled and laid down on top of him, having a much closer view of his face. "As much as I'd like," I cheekily said. "Why?" he asked, placing his arms underneath his head. "Where am I supposed to be right now?" "With her," I softly said, gesturing toward Summer, who still appeared to be in shock. "Why would I be with her?" he asked. I looked at him with disbelief and shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know—maybe because the two of you are mates or something," I said in a sarcastic tone. "Baby?" Enzo said when he noticed me fidgeting. "Any luck today?" he asked. I pursed my lips together and shook my head. Darkness. That's still all I could see. He let out a sigh before I felt him wrap his arms around me. "It's okay, baby," he said. "Give yourself more time, huh?" "How long?" I impatiently asked. "We'll get married in two days, Enzo," I said. "The wedding doesn't have to be your deadline, Keilah," he assured.
