"I'm so nervous", Annaliese panics.
"Baby, It's four in the evening", Kieran replies.
"So?".
"The ritual isn't until later tonight".She's talking to me, Kieran realizes and smiles.
"I know and time is drawing near", she says in exasperation.
"Maybe i should back out", she says more to herself.
He wraps his hands around her waist.
"Queens don't give up, especially mine".
"Don't touch me Kieran", she pushes him away gently and his back hits the wall. His face falls as he stares at her.
"But you're right and I'll make you proud", she completes.
"I know you will", he says just looking at her.
"I won't be a burden to you anymore".
His eyes snaps to her face.
"What?", he asks her with a hardened voice."I mean if i have my eyesight back, i won't b-".
"Why the fuck would you think that?!", he yells at her.
