Zora's footsteps echoed down the corridors of the bunker as he led Kieran and Melinda deeper into the heart of the structure. It was blinding to them, at first, and covered their eyes at the sight of the light, but as the seconds passed by, they opened their eyes slowly, and they could now endure the bright light.
