"What?" Menelik boomed, staring daggers at me.

"Yeah. You'll have to apologize." I retorted, with a cunning smile, plastered on my face.

"Apologize for what in particular, huh?" Menelik boomed, in a menacing manner. "Look, let's not make a mountain out of this issue… I just came here to…"

"...and what if I do." I thundered. "You made a mountain out of this issue when you went all nuclear on me. On me… A whole freaking Alpha." I pointed my fingers to myself, with an exhorting poise. "Nah, that's over the bar." I hissed.

The room was heavy with a tense silence. The air was thick with the imposing presence of Alpha Menelik and I. We stared face to face, our eyes locked in a silent battle of wills, and the room fell silent, with tension hanging in the air like a heavy fog.

Since he wasn't willing to yield, I broke the silence, and said, "well, you can have the room all to yourself then. I have other important things to do."

I stood up and headed for the exit, but Menelik suddenly stopped
