***CALISTA'S POV****A FEW DAYS LATERMeghan dyed the tawny, golden hair of my pups to black. It was kinda, a long procedure, and it took us days to forage for the raw materials for the corrective procedure. When we finally found them all, Meghan began the hair-darkening procedure. She used henna, indigo, and black walnut hulls to darken their hair. She made the dyes into a paste and applied it to their hair, which was then wrapped in a cloth and left to sit for several hours. Meghan said, the longer the dye was left on the hair, the darker the color would be.
