Chapter 87 : Drawing the Line

The air around Fabio crackled with tension. The dim lights of the docks cast eerie shadows on the water, and the distant wail of sirens began to fade into the night. But it was the presence of Santos and his armed men that made Fabio’s pulse thunder in his ears. There was no more room to run. No more room for deception or games. He had to face the truth head-on.

Santos stood a few feet away, his gun lazily hanging by his side, but the sneer on his face made it clear—he was in control. Or so he thought.

Fabio felt Felix’s gaze burning into him from beside the crates, waiting for a signal, waiting for something. His mind raced through the many paths this could take, but every road ended in the same place. It was time to draw the line.
