CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN

SALLY

I drove into my company when I realised that I didn't leave the house with my phone. I climbed out of the car, and Alicia as well just drove in.

"Alicia," I called when she walked out of her car.

"Hello ma'am," she greeted me.

"I'm going back home cause I left my phone. Handle things over here."

I got back into my car and decided to just grab my phone and leave. I was surprised when I drove into the compound to meet Alex's cars complete at the parking lot. It's been almost an hour, if not more, since I left the house. How come they were still at home.

I walked into the sitting room, and it seemed so quiet, apart from the maids going about their normal duties. I walked to the dining room and grabbed my phone from the dining table first. I sighed deeply after picking it up, and then I looked upstairs flatly.

I decided to check Alex's room, and when he wasn't there, I concluded that they probably decided to use a cab or something else.
