CHAPTER FIFTY ONE

SALLY

"Park, please," I pleaded with the taxi driver.

I didn't want to walk into my father's house looking this way. I was deeply hurt. I expected everything from Alex, but not him trying to steal my company.

Why would he hurt me so badly?

What hurt the most was the fact that I loved Alex. I loved him so much and would never hurt a hair on his skin, but he went ahead and did the opposite to me.

What have I done to deserve this kind of treatment from Alex? Was this the reason he married me?

Was he pretending to be nice to me all these while?

He was probably trying to make up. Or, he was trying so hard to stop me from suspecting him.

I sobbed as hard as I could, ignoring the taxi driver who was staring at me through the front mirror.

"Are you okay, ma'am?" He asked me.

I shook my head.

"I had a fight with the man I love," I told him. "He hurt me so deeply. So deeply that I do not think I can forgive him."
