POV

Its Sunday morning at 6 a.m. when my phone rings...

It is my mom… I refrain from rolling my eyes. Why on earth would she call me this early in the morning.

"Hi?" why is my mother calling me?

"Hey Alex, did I wake you?" she asks like that is not obvious. No one is up this early on their day off.

"Yes" I groan

"Sorry baby we at the airport do you mind picking us up, your brother is not answering his phone" she complains

"Mom you only supposed to arrive Friday, Its Sunday" I remind her

"Yes, but your sister was throwing a tantrum we came back early, to please her." you could hear the irritation in my mother’s voice.

"Fine I’ll be there in about an hour I'll get Niki to come as well." I was not ready to face my mother on my own. Her questions about my love life were a bit too much at times. I was happy single not that she would understand at my age she already had two children and was married to the love of her life.
