Liam interrupted her with a kind smile. "It's fine. Even if you've been acting a bit strange, it's alright. Here's my phone."

Amelia smiled gratefully and took the phone from him. She quickly dialed Perry's number, hoping that she would pick up.

Meanwhile, Perry lay on her couch, her mind racing with thoughts of how to escape Andrew's watchful eye and meet Amelia at the park.

She knew there was no way she could slip away without him noticing, and she had no way of reaching out to Amelia to let her know what was happening.

Just then, her phone rang. She glanced at the caller ID, but it wasn't a number she recognized. Hesitantly, she answered the call.

"Hello?" she said tentatively.

"Perry, it's Amelia," she said, her voice sounding urgent.

Perry jumped to her feet, relief flooding through her. "Ame? Thank goodness you called," she said, feeling a wave of gratitude towards her friend.

Amelia looked over her shoulder at Liam, trying to keep her voice steady. "Are you at the park already
