The Job interview

Episode Seven.

*Hannah's home*

Joey had slept off, Hannah took him to the bed and gently placed him not wanting to wake him up, she had decided to enroll him in a new school since she want to start looking for job, and him at home without anyone to take care of him is wrong so at least schooling will take away his time.

She gently kissed his forehead and then realized that he was holding a drawing in his hand, she gently removed it and saw a drawing of him, his mother and his imaginative father, she smiled warmly.

"My son." She muttered and hugged him tight, her phone ringed, she quickly left to the seating room to answer it, it was her uncle Mike that face time her.

She slide to answer and quickly arranged her hair.

"Hey sweetheart, how are you doing?" Uncle Mike asked.

"I'm fine uncle Mike, thanks for what you did to us...hope Sarah had returned home safely, I couldn't give her a call thinking she most be tired." Hannah answered.

"She is fine and already sleeping, she told me about your intention to look for a job and I think you don't have to do that, my friend owned an enterprise and his eldest son is the CEO of the enterprise, so I had talked to him about it already and he said you should go to the company tomorrow with your documents for an interview."

Uncle Mike explained.

"Oh my God! I can't believe this, you have done so much for me, how can I ever repay you for it?" Hannah sniffed.

"You don't have to repay me my darling, I'm already feeling bad that I couldn't be there for you when you needed me the most but I'm definitely gonna make sure that you and Joey never lack anything anymore, how about his studies? Have you thought of it already?" Uncle Mike asked.

"Yeah, I think I should get him enrolled in a public school for now until I see how things turns out after the interview." Hannah answered.

"A public school? No, I won't allow Joey attend a public school, he deserves better, you know what, I will forward an address for you, it's a newly built school that are looking for students and trust me, they are good, I will take care of the payments and everything, I will make my secretary so the necessary things, all you have to do is to take him to the school early tomorrow before your interview."

Uncle Mike exclaimed.

"I don't even know what to say right now, thank you so much uncle Mike, you are our savior, I don't know how life could have been for me without you, thanks a bunch." Hannah replied.

"You don't need to thank me, so tomorrow, take a cab and tell the driver to drop you at C.K enterprise, that's the name of the company." Uncle Mike said.

They talked more and hanged off.

*The next day*

Hannah woke up very early, she was excited and confident that everything will work out great, she bathed Joey and dressed him up, made some pancakes for breakfast with some of the foodstuffs her uncle had already kept in stock for her, after breakfast, she held his hand and they exit the house, since the house is not in a visible area they had to walk to the main road before getting a cab, as they walked, Hannah get bumped into the two people she hate to ever get an encounter with, Jason and Carly, her ex boyfriend and ex best friend, they were holding hands, she held onto Joey firmly.

They chuckled by the sight of her.

"Wow Hannah, you are back...and you are not even looking better, you are looking worse." Jason snapped.

"And you are not looking good either, so get off my way, I have way important things to do rather than wasting it with two angry birds like you." Hannah replied and smirked.

"Wow, hey boy, is this the bastard you gave birth to? I'm sure his father most be very handsome because I won't lie, he is so cute ...so bad you decided to gave birth to him to continue the legacy of your bad luck, so pathetic." Carly said.

"My son is not a bastard, but I guess you are, yeah you look like one, it's so obvious." Hannah replied and chuckled.

"Two losers, you both surely fit each other." She added and carried Joey up.

"Momma, why do they look like evil people in my story?" Joey asked.

Carly glared at him.

"And this aunty looks like Cinderella's evil stepmom." He added and laughed holding his stomach.

"You little wizard...!" Carly screamed and tried to hit him, Hannah grabbed her hand and twisted it back.

"You can do anything to me but if you dare try to hit my son, I will make sure your hand remain paralyzed forever, stupid losers." Hannah spat and head off leaving them extremely angry.

Hannah dropped Joey at the school her uncle sent an address to her, after doing all the necessary things, Joey was allowed to start attending classes Immediately.

"Thank you so much principal Michelle."

Hannah said and they shake hands.

"Your uncle is such a great man, all Credits to him." The principal replied.

Hannah squat to Joey's size.

"Be a good boy son, mummy loves you."

Hannah said and kissed his forehead.

*C.K enterprise*

Hannah arrived at the company and stared at it, it's really magnificent and beautiful, Money speaks.

She walked in with a heavy heart and the receptionist allowed her in since her appointment was already booked, though she was a little bit late.

"Submit your documents to the CEO's office by your left." The receptionist said.

"Thank you so much." Hannah replied with a smile and headed to the direction given to her by the receptionist.

She knocked once.

"Come in." A familiar voice replied.

She pushed the door and walked in, the next thing she saw left her puzzled.

She widened her eyes.
