“I knocked on Anna’s bedroom door. There was no answer, but I went in anyway.

Anna was sitting up in bed, staring at her phone. She didn’t look up as I came in

I took the phone from her.

“Stop looking at social media. It will only make you miserable. Whatever they think is their headache.” I switched off the phone.

“Everyone is taking about it.” She began crying.

“So? Who cares. They are no angels. Stop crying, pull yourself together. Here, I brought you this, they are your favorite.”

I handed her the box of chocolate. But she stared at them. I was worried. Anna was never too upset to eat chocolates.
