“Calm down. It may not be what you think.” I told Janet.

She had left me in the ballroom midway in our dance, only to come back awhile later looking ready to eat nails.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her.

“My dad’s girlfriend is right now in one of the hotel rooms with another man.” She fumed.

“What?”

“Yeah Lois, you've met her." She was looking around the room. “ There’s my dad. I need to tell him.”

“Wait a minute.” I held her arm.

“What? He needs to know the slut she really is.”

“Did you actually see her having sex with this guy?”

“They are in a room together, what else would they be doing?”

“Room 300 I think.”

“You think? You are not sure?”

“I didn’t really see them enter, I wasn’t fast enough, but I know they are there.” She tried to break free. “I am wasting time. I need to tell dad.”
