Just as I unfolded the papers to what looked like some sort of a receipt, the door burst open and in came Olivia clutching her stomach. She could barely hold herself up.
"Olivia! Are you okay?" I asked as I rushed to her and held her up.
She tried reaching for the papers clutched in my hand but I moved it away from her. She convulsed, slipping from my grasp and dropping to the ground in a fetal position.
"Oh my God, Olivia. What's happening?"
I suddenly felt Amelia's presence next to me and I turned to her for help but she already had her phone pressed to her ear. I vaguely heard her call a doctor urgently as I helped Olivia to her bed.
She looked a lot better after a doctor came and checked up on her.
I showed him the pills I had found. Heather came after Amelia called her and had initially told us to leave but I wasn't having it.
"What did you do to her?" I had almost yelled at her, unable to keep the bitterness from my voice.
<"You must've been so scared. The doctor mentioned about some complications-""Oh, scared I was. But not for me. I was scared about what I was about to do at that time. I was going to kill someone. Someone that did nothing wrong and was only the product of my stupidity."I shook my head. "Please don't blame yourself. You did what you thought was right.""I didn't think it was right. If I had even a slightest idea that you and Tristan wouldn't object to the baby or criticize me for it, I wouldn't have done it." I could feel her regret rolling off of her in waved."You've got to know that I would never criticize you for something like this. I don't know about Tristan but I would never."She looked at me with sad eyes. She didn't say anything so I asked because I had so many questions."Why did you trust Heather with this? Weren't you scared she'd be mad at us?""No, I felt like I could trust her. She's so strong. I needed someone like he
"Tristan," I whispered to his distressed form."P-please tell me that was a lie."I didn't say anything because I couldn't lie to him. He was supposed to find out, just not like this.He turned back and faced me with teary eyes. My face gave away the fact that no, it wasn't a lie. His face contorted in pain.He grabbed my shoulders and shook me. "No, please tell me it's all a lie. You-you're playing a prank on me, right? It's not funny. Stop it.""I'm sorry you had to find it like this." I said quietly. He let go of me. "No."He strode forward and walked past me into the room. I followed him.Olivia looked shocked and scared. "Tristan."He looked like he wanted to yell but once he was close enough to her, his eyes dropped down to her flat stomach."I'm sorry." It pained me to see Olivia so broken, she barely managed to get the words out."Why did you do it? Just give me a reason why you didn't tell me. Some
"What is it? I want to go home," he finally said impatiently."I wanted to apologize for causing all of this. She started keeping her distance from you because I told her to. I caused you two a lot of pain and heartbreak and I'm truly and deeply sorry for it.""It's not your fault. But what did Olivia mean when she said that you were at fault for the abortion? I didn't understand how.""She was scared of how I'll react if I got to know about the baby. Like I said, she avoided you because of me and she still went against me and got pregnant. I didn't know that my words would affect her so much that she'd choose to abort the baby. But I didn't even know that she was pregnant before today. You know that too."He nodded. "I don't think it's your fault.""Me too. My only fault was that I kept you two apart. I'm sorry.""It's alright. Do you still think I'm too good for her?""I don't know anymore."We sat in silence for a few minute
SURPRISE!ETHAN'S POVI thought I'd never fall in love. I always thought it'd take a lot of time for me to fall for someone. But with Juliet it was so easy. I hadn't even realized I was falling until it hit me during Brian and Brooke's wedding.Initially I just liked her. Then more. Then more and then finally it couldn't be anything more but love.I realized it during all those dates she took me on. She cared and she remembered everything I told her, even the things that I forgot that I told her. No woman had ever started with hating me, to making peace with me, to taking me on adventures I never got to experience, to making me fall for her. No woman had ever given me a piggyback ride, except maybe my mom when I was little. As I watered our little flower garden I couldn't help but smile at the thought of her. I bent down and observed the plants. They were starting to sprout tiny b
Juliet and I decided to take one car and her parents took another one. Olivia decided to stay back and we agreed that her going to the party wouldn't be a good idea as Tristan would be present there. Although I felt like they should talk things out, Juliet felt like they both needed some more time and I agreed with that too.Alessia Stryker had recently opened up her first IT company. She was the daughter of one of mine and Juliet's dad's mutual friend and business partner, Bram Stryker. It was her launch party which was an excuse for her company to scout out some investors and clients which offered an opportunity for others to do the same, hence why such parties were important. We reached the venue which was flooded by paparazzi more than ever because there was a rumor that Alessia's actor sister would attend with her secret non celebrity boyfriend.I noticed Juliet shift uncomfortably in her seat when the paps turned the glare of their cameras at our tinted wi
JULIE'SPOVI shot up into a sitting position once my eyes opened. I immediately regretted sitting up so abruptly because the room spun at great speeds. I squeezed my eyes shut and pressed my fingers into my temples. It took some time for me to recall the last thing I could remember which was the argument with Heather.I sighed. I was again torn between what was the right thing to do and what I was forced to do.I noticed an Advil on my nightstand. I immediately chased it down with water, grateful to whoever put it there for me because my headache had just started to set in.The atmosphere at the breakfast table was tense. I had woken up late and everyone had already had their breakfast. Ethan had left for work and I regretted not being able to catch him before he left.I didn't remember much from last night after my argument with Heather. I just hoped I hadn't done anything stupid but if looking at my parents
"That's...strange.""Very much so. Hopefully, there aren't any more clones. I've had enough with you as it is. Once I'm sure everything is under control here, I'll go in search of Juliet.""Will that be necessary? I'm all over the news. Even if Juliet doesn't keep up with the latest news she's bound to hear it from someone, especially when it's about her."Heather seemed to think it over. "Now that I have no idea where she is, that's highly possible.""And before that happens shouldn't I just disappear?""No. At least not yet. Even if she does hear about it, she'll contact me first. I don't think she'd want to come back when she's unintentionally the hot topic right now."I sighed. "What am I to say to the parents?""They're pissed. If you keep being holed up in your room, they'd probably be mad at you for being a coward and that is unlike Juliet."Taking her words into account, I promptly approached them just before lunch.
I froze. For a full minute I couldn't do anything but gawk at a confused Samara."Are you okay?""Uh," I snapped out of my daze. "What did you say?""I said that a woman is waiting in the living room. She's asking for you and she looks like you. It's unbelievable. I thought you were just messing around but you two really are different people.""I-I'll be right there." My voice came out shaky. I was expecting Juliet to return but nothing had prepared me for this moment.I knew I should immediately find Heather because if Juliet was here then that meant Heather must've known that she was coming. Why didn't she warn me before? But my feet seemed to have a mind of their own as they approached the stairs. I couldn't deny that part of me which wanted to see the woman I had been pretending to be for so many months.I could see the back of her head. She was a redhead but I knew she was a natural brunette and she had just dyed her hair and cho
