Olivia

"Damn! Why can't I peel off this button?" I hissed out aggressively as we pushed through the door to our room. I was aroused after our little kiss at the seaside. I was eager for us to arrive back home so I could go all wild with Logan.

"Easy there. If you go gently, you will peel it off in no time," Logan hushed out, helping me in taking off his shirt button. I didn't care. I just wanted to feel his touch all over my body. I managed to take the damn first button before I went down to the next and then the last. I discarded the shirt from his body in one go before roughly crashing my lips on his.

Logan responded with the same intensity. His hand went to the zipper of my dress, and he slid it down. I pulled away. "Pull the damn dress out of my body," I said in a voice I barely recognized as my own. Only if Logan knew how wet I was in between my legs.

Logan slid my maxi dress down, leaving me in nothing but my undergarments and my big baby bump. "Are you

OliviaBy the time we arrived at the hospital, I was a mess. We had to fly all the way back to New York, to the countryside where she lives. Logan kept assuring me that she will fine, but deep down, I couldn't stay calm. “My grandmother is admitted here,” I said as we approached the reception. “Name, please.”“Elizabeth Patrick.”“Give me a minute, please,” she bowed down to the desktop. “She’s in room 4 at the—” I didn't wait to hear her remaining words and sauntered away. We stepped into the elevator, and I tapped my foot in anxiety. “Calm down, Olivia. I'm sure she'll be fine,” I felt Logan’s hand on my shoulder.“I don't know, Logan. I pray so.” The elevator door was taking time to open. By the time it did, I wasted no time charging out. I spared each room a glance before stopping at room 4.My heart quickened as I slowly pulled the door open. As soon as my eyes landed on my grandmother, tears began flowing down. “Grandma!” I charged towards her, wrapping my arms around her.“Y

Olivia"Never mind; I'm sure Grandma was shaken up by the news. You know, this big baby bump is enough to scare her," I said with a laugh, trying to hide my confusion.Logan held me by the shoulders. "Don't worry. Grandma will be fine. We will explain everything to her later. What you need now is rest. You haven't eaten anything since we left Costa Rica. Your eyes are puffy." I didn't miss the teasing tone in his voice. I threw him a glare in return."Whose fault, was it?" I threw."What do you mean whose fault? Did you even give me a chance to get you something? When you were literally crying like a kid being deprived of her cookies," he retorted as we made our way out of the hospital. I said nothing in return because he was right. I cried like a river when I got the call. My grandma is the only family I have left after my parents' demise. I was scared when the nurse who had called said she collapsed.Logan and I managed to spot a restaurant after walking for a while. I hadn't been t

Olivia"Why exactly are you doing this, Grandma?" I charged forward as soon as Logan left the room. "Why are you doing this to me ?" I let out again, my anger mounting. I didn't want to raise my voice, but she was making it hard to stay calm because she hadn't given any reason for her outburst."I have already made my decision. You are not going anywhere near him or his family," she retorted, her tone oddly calm, which made me even angrier. An annoyed chuckle escaped me. "I won't leave Logan," I declared. Her eyes briefly widened before the same anger returned."You want me dead, then.""What—" I was speechless at her words. I said nothing and only stared at the woman in front of me in confusion. What was going on? Calm down, Olivia. You can sort things out. I mentally assured myself before moving forward and taking my seat next to her on the bed.I reached for her cold hands. "Listen, Grandma, I love Logan with everything in me. He's my husband, my family, and everything. I can't le

Logan "Please make sure everything is in order. You can inform Scott or Bernard if anything arises. I'm currently out of the city, so it might be hard to reach me. Thank you." I ended the call and heaved a sharp breath. I had been on a call for about ten minutes, discussing things with one of the contractors. Taking a break from work had allowed me to relax, and now I was eager for us to finish the meeting. Funny, right? The reason for my eagerness was Olivia. She's going through a lot. After we arrived at her grandma's house, she broke down in tears. It was hard to calm her down; she gets emotional too quickly. At some point, I used to give the excuse that it was because of her pregnancy. Now that she's in her last month, I want to be there with her at all costs.Honestly, when her grandma reacted negatively to my presence, I was nervous and scared. I understood her anger was justified. Anyone would react that way seeing their daughter or granddaughter appear out of the blue with a

What does shouting have to do with making money?"If only he knew. "Do you have any idea how much we've made so far? You underestimate the magic of your cooking skills. Keep going," I urged, taking the two plates and heading out to serve the customers. There were still more orders to take. When Logan and I decided to open the restaurant, we initially planned to offer just one menu, noodles, as it was the easiest option. However, to our surprise, customers started pouring in. He doesn't know many places around here."Cut that poor man some slack. Must he always be with you twenty-four hours a day?" Jamie hissed as she took a sip of her lemonade. We had stopped at a restaurant, and I was suddenly craving the "hungry man size" meal we had last time with Logan. I was still eating when I decided to call Logan and ask if he wanted me to order takeout for him, but that's when I heard the female voice."Yes! He's supposed to be. Jamie's visit had been sudden, but it came at the right time when Grandma was playing hard to get.The way I had broken down in tears earlier had touched her deeply. I didn't understand why Grandma was being so stubborn about not wanting the kidney transplant. I had even begged the doctor to let me be her donor.

Olivia Three months laterI stared at my reflection in the mirror. I saw a different woman. I knew I had changed both physically and emotionally within the span of a year, from the time I met Logan up to this stage. I couldn't be thankful enough. I had a good set of people in my life and a caring, loving husband like Logan.Words couldn't express how grateful I was for having him in my life. Every day was a new discovery of him. Our love grew stronger with each passing day. And then came our little prince, Tristan. My eyes traveled to his sleeping figure on the bed. Three months had gone by so fast. Logan was actually serious when he said he'd pamper him. That was exactly what he did. Sometimes, I used to feel guilty when he stayed awake with me as we tried to put Tristan to sleep at night. But Logan would still insist that he doesn't mind. He wanted to be there for me and our baby.As for the family, they showed immense support too, especially Amelia, who made sure to check my healt

I questioned, sparing him a look."Maybe Father has decided to free us. Scott hasn't been at the office for two days now. He's following your footsteps."My lips curved up. "You guys should thank Olivia for stepping up for you. Her presence in this house has really made an impact."Liam nodded his head in agreement. "You're right. Olivia“Olivia, please take a seat first,” Amelia held me by the shoulder and tried to make me sit. I had given birth barely up to five hours, but the tension inside me showed no signs of calming down. Not when I knew my grandma was battling for her life in the ICU.“I don’t know, Amelia. I’m scared. What if something happens to her? I can’t…” I choked on my words. Sarah joined in, and both of them placed comforting hands on my shoulder.I had been pacing around the hallway of the ICU, waiting for the doctor to show up while I left Logan and Jamie in the room where I had been admitted with the baby.“You shouldn’t stress yourself; you’re not strong. She’ll be fine. The doctors are skilled, and the operation will be a success,” Sarah reassured. I took a sharp breath and nodded my head, not because of anything but to ease their worry.Thirty minutes turned into an hour before the doctor finally emerged. I rose to my feet and rushed towards him. “Doctor, how is my grandma? Is she okay?”

Olivia Grandma's eyes were fixed intently on me and Logan. Nervousness crept over me as I awaited what she had to say. I shifted in my seat when she cleared her throat, and her gaze shifted to Logan. "So, what plans do you have for my granddaughter?" she asked. My brows creased in confusion. "What plan, Grandma? Logan and I are married."She threw me a glare in return. "Are you his mouth? I'm talking to Logan, not you."I formed my lips into a thin line. "Sure, go on," I urged, using my hand to indicate that she should continue. I didn't even want to look at Logan, knowing he might become nervous."My plan is simple. I'm going to make her the happiest person alive." Heat crept up my cheeks at his words. Logan always knew how to warm my heart and make butterflies erupt in my stomach. I was sure lucky to have someone like him in my life. I would say he was like an angel sent to me to shower my life with love and happiness.I was snapped back to reality by Grandma's words. Looks like Grandma will just have to hire you. People are liking your fried shrimps,” I said with an amused smile, brushing off his first statement.“Trying to dodge the topic by using sweet words on me, right?” I raised an eyebrow.“Did I? If I don’t shout, how would the customers hear me?” I voiced out. Logan dished out the shrimp onto three plates.“If they can’t hear, they should fuck off. They can’t stress my wife.” That made me blush like a fool, and I didn't try to hide it. “Easy. At least no one is flirting with your wife.” I mused.“They won’t even dare.” Logan winked at me, making the situation even worse.
