Reagan was the first to wake up and was startled to find himself being hugged by strong arms.
The person was hugging him tightly he felt like he could suffocate.
After his dazed mind cleared, he replayed the scene that happened before he fell asleep.
His father had picked him up from school and brought him home.
Wait… his father!
He thought that it was just a dream but it seemed it was real.
The man hugging him now was his father.
It felt so good to be hugged by him. He has never slept this good his entire life. But this is the sweetest sleep he has ever had since he started missing his dad.
Reagan gave out a silly smile and closed his eyes again. He did not want to move away from this embrace. It felt safe and warm.
Just as he was enjoying being hugged by his father, he heard her mom's voice coming from the kitchen.
